What's in a name

I just realized that in less than 2 weeks I start watching another little baby boy. The problem is, what do I call him here? My boys are Toddler and Baby, the 8month old I watch is Little Baby, so what should I call the new one? Of course there's also the problem that Baby is now a toddler, no longer a baby, so I really should call him something else. I should have given them personality-related nicknames here instead of age-related lol, since they keep growing. Of course, I could just call them by their real names, that would make things much easier. What do you think?

I'm all for real names - you don't mention your last name here - I think it's safe. :) Or personality related names....just don't do #1 and #2 or daycare kids 1 and 2. LOL

lol, well, I might just use my boys' real names, but not the kids I babysit, come up with something else to call them.

How about for the kids you watch, Baby-on-the-go and Baby-bunting. lol

Your kids, do something that fits them. Or you could do initials.

As long as the real names are somewhat common I don't see any issue with first names cause yes, they stop being babies after a while :P

Yeah, with your own kids I'd just do their real names, or maybe if you have a nickname for them then use that. For the daycare kids, definitely don't use their names. :) I think I found a blog a teacher writes and when she talks about a student she refers to them as purple crayon, red crayon, etc. She's assigned each kid a crayon color. :)

Natalie, that is a cute idea :)

So keep an eye out, I will probably post later revealing their names :D

I vote for the crayon idea. It's the most creative- and fun :)

The crayon idea is really cute...or you could call the older two Big Boy and Now a Toddler.
