Road trip

So I am not excited about the long drive we have tomorrow. It's about 5 hours (depending on how many stops we have to make) to get to the place where Hubby's friend is getting married. Then we have to turn around and drive about 3 hours to Logan afterwards. That is a lot of time in the car for a preggo woman and two little kids. Luckily Hubby does the driving and I am bringing a book to read. We'll spend the night in Logan and spend Saturday with Hubby's family before driving 2 hours home that night. Hopefully the weekend goes well. Hm, I think I'm going to check to see if the hotel has free internet access. Cuz you know me, can't last long without my online interactions :)

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that we've had a pretty good week. We went to the zoo Monday, Hubby had a good birthday yesterday and the boys have been better behaved than usual I think. I am also thankful that my garden is actually producing something, I am so excited a tomato is growing.

What are you thankful for?

Thursday

Today has been a nice day. The boys were making me a little crazy earlier, but for the most part they have behaved today. We didn't have anywhere to go so we've just been home relaxing. I've been caught up in the book I'm reading, Odd Hourse by Dean Koontz. It's really good and I've had a hard time putting it down. I'm almost finished, just took a break for dinner. Oh yeah, tomorrow we are going up to Idaho then spending the night in Logan, so I guess I need to pack tonight since we are leaving in the morning. Hubby's friend is getting married up in Idaho, then his family is getting together in Logan because his brother will be in Preston for the weekend. Anyway, yeah, guess that means I need to do laundry so I have something to pack :P

Wednesday

I posted an update on my garden blog. I'm so excited because I actually have my very first tomato growing! This is exciting for me because last year when I tried growing tomatoes they never even got to the flowering stage lol. The tomato plants have grown a lot in the last few weeks, I love it.

Today is going to be hot, I can tell. But it is a beautiful day. They boys are outside playing. I'm about to start lunch and get the cake going. It just feels like a really peaceful day.

Happy Birthday Hubby!

Today is my Hubby's birthday :) I won't tell you his age, but I will say he is in his late 20s. I hope he has a good day at work. We are going out for dinner when he gets home. I'm going to start his cake in a little bit, I really hope it turns out as good as I want it to. I love you honey! Have a good day! (And I bet he'd love if you'd go wish him a happy birthday at his blog, Life Happens.

Midnight snack

Ugh, I should be sleeping by now, but baby decided otherwise. I just had to get up and get something to eat or I was going to be sick. I thought the yogurt I ate not long before bed would be enough, but it wasn't. So I had to get out of my comfy bed and make myself a sandwich to quiet my stomach down a bit so I can get to sleep. Not easy when I took some Tylenol PM an hour ago so my mind is starting to get a little fuzzy lol. I need to start keeping something to snack on by my bed so I don't have to come all the way downstairs in the middle of the night to get something to eat.

Birthday plans

So, I did figure out what to get Hubby for his birthday, with the help of my sister. So we went to the store and got that and cake mix and stuff. I'm excited to make his cake tomorrow, I have a cute idea for it. Unfortunately I can't share what his presents are or what the cake idea is, cuz he reads this lol. If the cake turns out cute like I hope then I'll take a pic, but I'm not much of a decorator, so it's not a promise. :D Now, I think I'm going to go get the boys to bed and finally get my monster laundry pile folded before I go to bed.

Brick wall

So, I've hit my energy wall today. Got most of my to-do list done, but now I just want to sleep. I'm trying to think of something to get Hubby for his birthday, which is tomorrow, but I just don't know what. I am so horrible at gift giving. Hubby is always so good at getting me stuff that I've been wanting or needing, but I just have no talent at buying stuff for people. We'll probably just end up going to the store and having him pick out something for himself.

Anyone have good ideas for gifts for guys?

Tuesday To-Do

Today I have a little list of stuff to do:

* Clean living room

* Clean family room

* Vacuum those rooms

* Dishes

* Sweep/mop kitchen

* Go to the bank Done, but need to go again before they close

* Call VT partner

* Fold laundry

I need to get the family room and living room cleaned and vacuumed this morning before my visiting teacher comes over so she doesn't think we are slobs lol. I think I'll wait until my sister is awake before I go to the bank so I can leave the boys here, much easier that way. I am exhausted today. My legs were aching all night, making it hard to sleep.

Fast Day

Man, is it really already 9:30pm? Boy this day went by quickly. Of course that's because we had a fun morning and then the boys napped good and I even got a nap. Days just fly by when they go good. Ugh, I just remembered that my visiting teachers (ladies from church) are coming by in the morning and I haven't cleaned up. But I don't feel like doing it tonight so I guess I'll have to do it in the morning. My legs really ache after all that walking so I have been doing nothing much all day. I'm going to head to bed in a few minutes and hopefully we'll all sleep good tonight.

Zoo Pics

OK, here's a few pics from the zoo :) I'm not posting just a bunch of animals or this would be way long. I took over 150 pics today so this is just a few of them. I left out pics that showed my friends and their kids cuz I don't know how they would feel about me posting them.

Fun at the zoo

We had a blast at the zoo today. We met up with 2 of my friends and their kids. We were there about 4.5 hours and it was HOT! At least for an out of shape preggo pushing two kids in a stroller in the blazing sun lol. The boys had fun, though I'm pretty sure their favorite part was the playground, silly kids. Saw lots of fun animals and got lots of pics. Then the boys fell asleep on the way home and slept for over 2.5 hours! That was awesome. I got a nice shower alone and a little nap, until Hubby came home and woke us all up. I will get some zoo pictures up later, after dinner. Right now I'm still just exhausted so I'm letting Hubby cook dinner on the grill while I sit and do nothing.

Monday Madness

Today we are heading to the zoo to meet up with some friends. It should be lots of fun. The boys love zoos. Hopefully it won't get too hot too fast. I still need to get the boys dressed and pack a lunch and the diaper bag.

Last night we had dinner at my brother and SILs and it was lots of fun. We were going to go swimming but the pool was closed because a thunderstorm came in. Hopefully we can go over and go swimming again soon.

I don't think we have any other plans for today, just the zoo :) Hopefully that will wear the boys out a bunch and they will take a good nap when we get home.

Boxes

I'm on a freecycle group and I notice quite a few posts asking for or offering moving boxes. I always find this funny for some reason. We always keep all our boxes when we move, so we still have boxes from when we moved in together after we got married 5 years ago. And we don't throw them out or give them away because then whenever we move again we would have to go out and find more. I guess I understand getting rid of them if you live in a tiny apartment with no room to store boxes, though, luckily we've always had an attic or storage room to put ours. Another thing I don't understand is people who pay for moving boxes. Why pay for something you can get free from any fast food restaurant or store recycle bin? We always just went to places like Wendys and asked for boxes and they were happy to help us out.

Water

One great thing about where we live is that the water actually tastes good. In my family's city just a few miles away the water is awful. You have to have water purifiers on your tap or fridge just to make it a little drinkable. I'm not saying it's unhealthy, but it is just disgusting tasting. When my family first moved down there I got sick because I wouldn't drink the water for 2 weeks. Here we still have a filter on our fridge water dispenser, but even water out of the tap tastes fine. A big glass of yummy ice water on a hot day sure is nice.

The dungeon playroom

I swear I cleaned the playroom just a few days ago. I know it happened, but now you'd never guess. I even packed away a bunch of the toys so there would be less to make a mess with, and it's still a big disaster. I guess it's not as bad as it was a few days ago, but still. Why can't they just keep the toys were they belong?! And it's not that they even play with most of the toys, they just enjoy spreading them around the room. Like their toy basketball hoop. There is no reason they should tip it over and drag it halfway up the stairs, but they do. Please tell me one of these days they will learn to clean up after themselves without me having to fling threats at them!

Sunday Saying

"No man is happy who does not think himself so."
- Publilius Syrus

I totally agree with this quote. I think happiness is totally a state of mind. It's not the things you have, but your attitude in life. There are many people who have nothing and are always happy and those who have everything money can buy but are very unhappy.

All about comfort

I am all about comfort when it comes to my clothes. I'm a jeans and t-shirt type of girl. This is especially true when I'm pregnant. My favorite outfits include maternity yoga pants and loose Ts. I can't imagine how ladies hundreds of years ago who wore a corset all the time could even breathe. I think it's possible to look good and be comfortable. So far I have the "be comfortable" part down, but I'm not very good at fashion by myself so I usually look pretty plain. Thanks to my sister helping me shop, I know have some cuter maternity shirts though, which I really love. Hopefully I'll be able to get the "look good" part down by myself lol.

Packages

One thing I hate about the postal service here (whether USPS or UPS or FedEx) is that whenever we get a package, instead of knocking on the door for us to get it, or leaving a note for us to come pick it up, they always leave the shipping boxes under the edge of our door mat for us to find. For one, I don't go out the front door a lot, so they can sit out there for a day or two before I finally realize it's there. And two, anybody could come along, notice a huge bulge under the mat, and steal my package. It is just unprofessional to leave a package just sitting there in my opinion. If I lived in a quiet little cul-de-sac like I used to then I wouldn't mind so much, but with our house on a busy street with lots of people going by it bugs me quite a bit. We had a package of new checks just left there one day, now that is completely unsafe in my opinion. Something like that should ever just be left on someone's porch because if someone stole that it could have caused huge financial problems. I would much rather have to go pick it up at the post office than risk someone stealing my packages.

Techy Phones

It amazes me how quickly cell phones have become so widespread, and how fast they change. Before I got married just 5 years ago I had no need for a cell phone, but when I got married Hubby had one. A blue Nokia something-or-other, no texting, no internet, just talking. Since then we've gone through 4-5 different phones, and each one gets even more techy. Back then with my old Nokia I couldn't have imagined what the newer Nokia N810 and similar phones would be like. I had no idea even 5 years ago that in such a short time phones would be capable of emailing, GPS, searching the Internet, and so much more. They are like little computers these days. We don't have one of those fancy palm pilots or handhelds, just a good phone that can text and has internet capabilities that we rarely use. We bought our phones just last year and they already seem so out of style. I really like my sister's phone, it has a cool flip screen and mini-SD drive for pictures so you can actually take the pics directly from the phone to your computer (I'd have to pay $5/month to be able to transfer my pics from camera to computer). But I'm patient, we only get new phones when it's time to renew our contract so we can get the good ones for cheaper, so it may be a few more years before we get some fancy little mini-computer phone, but we will eventually. You know, when they go out of style :P

Same old Saturday

My boys really need to learn how to sleep in lol. Yesterday, the one day a week I can try to sleep in, they woke up before 6am. That's even earlier than normal for them! Luckily I was able to get a nap later on while Jakey napped. Then we got our weekly grocery shopping done. Boy was it hot out there! I think it got above 100*. We stopped to let the boys check out some cute puppies in front of WalMart. They were so adorable, lab/retriever mix, just what I want to get one of these days. It was hard not to take one home, but we don't really want one just yet.

Holds

I just remembered I need to go to the library today. I have movies and books due that I guess they might want back. I could be lazy and just renew them all again, but I think the boys would like some new movies to watch, plus I have 2 books on hold I need to pick up. I think I'm going to put Jakey down for a nap, and ask my sisters (who spent the night) to watch the boys while I go alone. It's so much easier to get in and out of the library quickly without the boys.

Out of ink

It's getting to be that time again. Time to buy new pens. Like most people I know, we usually buy one of those bags of cheap pens, like Bic or Papermate or whatever. They come like 12-20 in a bag so you'd think you would always have a pen handy. Unfortunately within a week they just disappear. Quicker if you have kids. I have been able to scrounge one up when needed, but it's getting harder to find one. Guess I better add that to this week's grocery list.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that the hailstorm we got a few days ago didn't destroy my garden. And my tomato plants seem to be growing a lot more lately. I'm thankful that tomorrow is Friday which means it's almost the weekend. And I am thankful for root beer. Yeah, maybe a silly thing to be thankful for, but Hubby picked one up for me at the store this evening and it was just what I needed :)

What are you thankful for?

Boring

So, we decided we aren't going to go see fireworks tonight. We are all just too tired. We did go spend a few hours at my family's house though and that was fun. Tomorrow the boys and I are planning to go to the park to hang out with my cousin and her little boy. Need to get back with her to make sure on the time. Haha, for some reason I just realized that today is Thursday, not Friday. I don't know why I've been thinking it's Friday all day. I think I'm just too tired to think straight. I might take a Tylenol PM tonight to try to get some sleep.

Pioneer Day

Today is a holiday in Utah, but we really aren't doing anything much. It is Pioneer Day, and because it's not a national holiday Hubby still has work. So it's pretty much like any other day around here. We might go watch some fireworks tonight. There was a parade this morning but I didn't feel like fighting the downtown crowd alone with the boys, so we didn't go. It's already getting hot out too, otherwise I'd take the boys on a picnic to the park or something. Yesterday we went to my brother's apartment complex to go swimming and the boys had so much fun. It was really nice to get in the cool water, but it was exhausting for me. I wish I had more energy for fun stuff like that.

Did something productive today

I got around to cleaning the playroom again today. I really hate cleaning that room. I usually don't get much help from the boys. Amazingly Jason was actually a good helper today, but Jakey would not help hardly at all and ended up being sent to his room because I was getting so frustrated with him. I went through and took a bunch of toys out of their that were just getting thrown around instead of played with. Now they are in the storage room/office and I need to find a box to put them in. Hopefully that will help keep the playroom from getting so messed up, though I'm sure all you moms know the crazy phenomenon where kids can make a giant mess with the smallest amount of stuff lol. One of the biggest messes was Jason's art stuff, especially the papers that were getting thrown everywhere. I went through and sorted out all the used papers to put in the recycling box (though I actually saved a few little notebooks he'd colored in to look back on) and put the unused papers in a drawer with the crayons. Looks so much better without the "paper corner" down there. Anyway, we'll see how long my efforts last.

What the...

hail?! Haha. So we got a nice thunderstorm going through here. I was so excited when it started raining cuz we have needed the rain so bad and I was happy I wouldn't have to water the garden for a few days. And then it started raining more. And more. And I had to help my sister try to cover her car because one of the windows is broken. (I totally just realized I should have had her pull it into the garage since Hubby has the car at work! D'oh!) Unfortunately that got blown off and the passenger side of her car is soaked.

And then it rained even more. It was just pouring down like a faucet. I was celebrating the fact that we were getting so much water.

And then it started to hail. And we realized that unless we wanted the garden shredded we would have to somehow cover it up. So my sister and I ran out and got a tarp and attempted to cover it with the stinging hail raining down on us. It was so windy and wet and painful! We were just laughing at how crazy it was. We only got it about half tied up to the fence over the garden before it just got too painful to stay out any more, but at least the corn and tomato plants were covered good. Everything else had the weight of the wet tarp on it so we have quiet a few smashed plants, such as the onions, and I don't know if they will survive. The tarp couldn't reach the strawberry plants and they are pretty shredded (guess it's a good thing they didn't have any strawberries growing anyway huh?), and the flowers in the front flower bed were flattened too. It was completely nuts!

It lasted maybe 10-15 minutes, then we got a break in the rain and I went out and finished tying up the tarp in case it hails again. Next time we get a severe thunderstorm warning I am getting the tarp ready beforehand, just in case! Kelsey and I were so soaked, and had to shower and change after. Brr.

Here is a pic during the height of the hailstorm, after we retreated from the battle with the tarp:

Tuesday To-Do

Here's a few things I need to do today:

* Laundry, wash and put away

* Dishes

* Clean Jakey's room

* Sweep kitchen

* Clean downstairs bathroom

Mostly every day chores that need done today. Hubby said he'd do dishes, but he didn't :P And Jakey's room is a mess because the boys like to pull the boxes of baby stuff out of the closet and dump them out, so I need to clean that up and figure out how to stop them from doing that.

So good but so bad

So I was planning to go to bed an hour ago. Instead I decided a small bowl of Snickers ice cream before bed sounded good. While dishing it up I noticed that there wasn't much left so I decided to just eat all of it instead of leaving a little left in the carton. Which means I ended up with a BIG bowl of ice cream. About halfway through I was full and feeling sick, but I didn't want to waste the rest or try to find a container to put it back into in the fridge, so I slowly made my way through the rest of it. Ugh. My stomach is not happy. And I'm tired cuz it took me forever to eat lol. At least the boys finally fell asleep so I don't have to keep telling them to be quiet. Hubby fell asleep on the couch (like he does 9 out of 10 nights, silly man), so I'm going to go up to bed and maybe read a little before going to sleep.

Good appointment

So my OB appointment went fine today. I got there at 3:10, my appointment was for 3:20 and they got me back at 3:40. My OB was in a surgery so I saw her nurse instead, otherwise I would have had to wait even longer. I was actually happy I was done before 4, since I've always had to wait even longer. Anyway, things are looking great, baby sounds good and everything is going normally. I have that glucola drink to take before my next appointment for the GD test. The boys were pretty good, though a bit crazy in the waiting room.

Good nap

I'm so glad that Jakey goes down for naps easy these days. He usually only naps about an hour, but at least I don't have to hear him screaming for an hour beforehand. He knows that when I put him in bed for nap I mean it, and having a gate up in the door doesn't hurt lol. Sometimes he whines for a minute, and there are of course days where he gets woken up early and screams when we try to make him go back to sleep, but most days he goes in and lays down and goes to sleep in just a few minutes. It makes it easy to plan to get stuff done during his naptime. He's actually been asleep for about 1.5 hours now, which is great, I love when he sleeps longer than an hour. I even get naps occasionally when he does, if Jason is being good and watching a show or something. No nap today though, I kept thinking of stuff I needed to do instead lol. Now if I could just get him to go to sleep at bedtime as easily, that would be great.

Monday Madness

Today the boys actually slept in until 7:30am :O They hardly ever sleep that late, so that was nice of them. Also we got some rain last night which we've desperately needed so it was nice and cool outside and I love the smell of rain. I'm hoping we get some more rain. Of course I still had to go out and water the half of my garden that's shaded by the neighbor's tree cuz it didn't get any rain :P

Besides the toothpaste disaster pictured below, the day is going pretty well. We are eating lunch and then I'm putting Jakey down for his nap. I have an OB appointment at 3:20 and I hope the boys will behave. I think that is all for today :)

Oh yeah, yesterday was one of my brother's birthdays, so we spend the evening at my parent's house where we all played games and ate pizza and stuff. We didn't leave until around 10pm, which is why the boys slept in a little today. It was lots of fun.

Love free stuff

In college we had career fairs every semester and I'd go with Hubby around to all the booths. Not really for me, since I didn't want a career lol, but for Hubby to check out all the companies. Plus I liked to pick up all the little promotional items they had at the booths like pens and candies and stuff lol. I really liked the booths with candy, so I went to all those even if I had no idea what the company was. When I was pregnant with the boys I'm sure they got a kick out of a pg woman waddling around to all the booths with candy lol.

Not just for teeth

So, want to see what mess Jakey made today? I swear I can't take my eyes off these kids for even a minute without them creating some big mess. You know how it is when suddenly the house gets too quiet? And you're like, "Oh crap, what are they doing now?!" Yeah, so that happened to I went upstairs to see what the boys were doing and found Jakey sitting on my bathroom counter covered in toothpaste.

It was all over everything- mirror, sink, faucets, saline solution, toothbrushes caked in it, that cup had an inch of toothpaste in it. And he'd had a shirt on before I took the pic and it was completely covered too. Luckily toothpaste is not too bad to clean up, and actually works pretty good as a cleaner itself lol. I threw Jakey in the shower while I wiped everything down. I'm still not happy he wasted almost a whole tube of toothpaste, but at least I can laugh about the mess. Just as long as he doesn't do it again.

I think it's naptime.

My loser

Hubby has been a little worried on whether or not he can actually win his work's biggest loser competition. There are a few guys that have already lost a lot of weight. I've told him what he needs to work on now is portion sizes. He is eating much better and cut out almost all pop, now he just needs to pay attention to how much he's eating. I tell him he better win. I don't care if I have to force him to take wieght loss pills, colon cleansing drinks, or whatever, but he better win cuz I am not willing to give up $500 right before Christmas lol.

My Anniversary

So Friday Hubby and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. 5 wonderful years that have been very full. In those 5 years we have:

* Added 2.5 kids, Jason in Sept 2004 and Jacob in June 2006 and Nathan on his way.

* Spent 3 years in college, with Hubby graduating in 2006 and me changing my major a few times and not finishing.

* Moved twice, once to Pocatello in 2006 for Hubby's first "real" job, then to our home here earlier this year for an even better job, as well as a few short months we stayed with my parents in between.

* Bought houses, cars, and major appliances and furniture.

* Gone through some tight financial times where we had more bills than money, and enjoyed the feeling of paying off credit cards and working off debt.

* Some fights, but many more good days than bad.

In ways it feels crazy that it has already been 5 years, but then it also seems odd that we have had so much happen in that time and it feels like it's been a lifetime. My love for Hubby has grown through everything we've been through and I feel truly blessed for the wonderful man I chose to marry.

Camera Critters

So I keep forgetting to take pictures of animals and other critters so I'm running out lol. I think I'll try to get some new pics of our cats since I haven't done that in a while. Anyway, I was looking back at old pics on my computer and found this one that is funny:
Yep, that's a kitten in a shoe :) Isn't he cute? This was one of the kittens our cat Stars had last year. I love kittens. Too bad they don't stay so small and cute!

Want to see more critter pictures? Check out Camera Critters.

Saturday stuff

I keep meaning to make a post about my anniversary yesterday, but never have the time or energy to make it good. I'll have to do it tomorrow. My brother and his wife came over tonight to watch UFC. It was fun. I've been so exhausted the last few days so I'm going to go to bed soon. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Thankful Thursday

I almost forgot it's Thursday! Today I am thankful that I don't have to go back to the orthodontist for 6 weeks. That is good because I don't like the 2hr drive so the less I have to go the better. I'm thankful that my garden seems to be ok despite the hot weather and no rain, my tomato plants are actually growing. And I am very thankful for my wonderful Hubby and that we are celebrating our 5 year anniversary tomorrow!

What are you thankful for?

Driving makes me tired

So, I didn't ask how much longer I'll have my braces. Kind of hard to talk when you have people messing with your mouth lol. Oh well, one of these days maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised and they'll just take them off :P My mouth is a bit sore now.

The boys are making lots of messes today, but I don't feel like cleaning right now, so it'll have to wait lol. I'm worn out from driving. I don't know why driving can be so exhausting, it's not like I'm physically doing much. I'm going to go lay down for a bit since Hubby is home to keep an eye on the boys.

Children's garden

So a friend of mine suggested I make the boys their own little flower garden to try to keep them away from my garden. I really think I'm going to try that. I have a little planter somewhere and potting soil and can get some seeds or flowers for them. I'm sure they'd love helping to plant them and water them. Then just maybe they will leave my flowers alone. So I'm going to try to do that sometime this weekend with them. This also goes along with part of our preschool this month, the science lesson is on how plants grow. So they could see how the flowers grow from seeds. Fun :)

Ortho appointment

So today I have to go to the orthodontist. I just wish it wasn't 2 hrs away! I hope the boys will be good on the drive. We normally go in the afternoon around Jakey's naptime so they usually nap half the trip, but since we are going in the morning this time I don't know if they will or not. I really need to ask this time how much longer I need braces. I've had them almost 3 years now and they are driving me nuts!

And I'm tired today. I didn't end up getting to bed until almost 11 last night, woke up a ton because I could not get comfortable, and Jason woke up before 6am today. So I hope I'll be ok to drive.

Tired and stuff

Well, it is about time for me to head to bed. Been a long day. The boys were crazy this morning, I have no idea where they got so much energy.

LOL, ok the silliest thing just happened (and I'm tired so it seems really funny). I've been waiting a few weeks to receive a copy of The Host that I won from 5 Minutes for Mom and was starting to wonder what was taking so long. Well just now I answered the door and talked to someone. As I was walking back in I noticed a big lump under our huge doormat. It suddenly hit me that there was probably a package under there. For some dumb reason whenever we have a package they don't bother ringing the bell or leaving a note where we can find it, they hide it under a corner of our doormat, which it really big. And I don't really go out the front door much, we go out the garage. So I remember that I'd noticed the lump there earlier when I'd gone out to get mail or something and hadn't thought anything of it (you know, busy mom brain discards irrelevant info). So I lift up the mat and pick up my package and right away know it's my book. Who knows how long it would have stayed there if I hadn't noticed it tonight. OK, so maybe it's not really that funny, but you know how it is when you're tired and feel dumb for not noticing something earlier :) Anyway, now I can reread The Host and really love 5 Minutes for Mom.

Well, tomorrow I have an orthodontist appointment 2 hours away so I am really going to head to bed by 10pm tonight. I have to leave around 8:30 to get there and am taking the boys with me. I don't really mind since they usually pretty good for the trip, I just need to remember to pack some stuff to eat. I know it would be more convenient to find a new orthodontist here, but I just don't want to leave the one who's been working with me for almost 3 years and knows my teeth, you know?

Anyway, have a good night!

Meanest mom ever

Or at least that's what Jason is thinking right now. Because of their flower-pulling escapade yesterday (and multiple times before that), the boys are grounded from playing outside today. Jason is throwing a fit because I just dragged him inside screaming. Jakey doesn't seem to care though, he's perfectly fine inside for now. Too bad it had to be today though cuz it's not as hot so it would be the perfect day to go to the playground. Maybe if they are really good I will let them off the hook early and go to the playground after dinner. I would feel bad wasting such a nice day inside. We are supposed to have some storms today, which is why it is a bit cooler. So far no rain, but I'm hoping it'll come, we really need it. We haven't had rain in 5 weeks!

Fire Station

OK, as promised, here are pics of the boys at the fire station yesterday. :) They had fun, though at first they were really shy around my sister's boyfriend, and they were a bit overwhelmed by the big fire engines.

They preferred the small fire truck in the background here, not so daunting I guess

They were enthralled with the hole were the siren makes noise lol

Jakey really wanted to go in the small fire truck

The wheels were as tall as the boys

My favorite pic

With Aunt Kelsey

"Driving" the big fire engine

It was fun, and I'm glad I took the boys. They enjoyed getting to see the fire trucks up close. (I'm not sure why some of the pics are sideways, they are right side up in my computer, oh well).

Weight

It's funny that Hubby is working to lose weight while I'm gaining weight. He's been losing at about the same rate I'm gaining. I really think that by November we will be the same weight lol. Kind of funny. He is doing good though, he's lost about 7 lbs now. It is weird for me to be seeing my scale going up. I always have no problem keeping my weight down, so to see it go up out of my control is a bit surreal, even though I've gone through it twice before. I guess it just feels weird to see it go up and know that it is a good thing lol.

Supplies

When I was getting my garden ready I was having trouble finding some of the things I needed and someone suggested to check the IFA Store. I hadn't even thought of it, since I've always just thought of it as a place to get horse and cattle supplies or something, I hadn't even realized they would have garden stuff. Of course it makes sense lol. I ended up finding the things I needed closer to home, but that would have been my next stop.

Surprisingly family friendly

I never really though that visiting Las Vegas was very fun, since I don't smoke, drink, or gamble. But I just never realized how many family friendly things there are to do there. I have a friend who loves to go there and she knows about the best family-friendly attractions, restaurants, and hotels in Las Vegas. Every time she talks about her trips there it makes me really want to go. Of course not right now when the temps are so high, but maybe sometime in the fall when it starts to cool down. We aren't planning a trip there, but in case we ever do, I know who to ask for advice on what to see and do.

Goodnight

I promise I will get some cute fire station pics up tomorrow :) I need to head to bed. The boys really wore me out today and I just took a nice long bath. I'm trying to start getting to bed before 11pm (actually I'd like to make it before 10pm, but too late for that tonight lol) so that I'm not so tired. It's just so nice to have some quiet time after the boys go to sleep that it's hard to make myself go to bed. So I am now officially shutting off the computer and heading to bed. Goodnight!

Tuesday To-Do

I know it's already most of the way through the day, but I figured better late than never on my to-do list. That also means some of it is already done :)

* Dishes Did this morning

* Laundry- mostly done. I have just a load or two to dry and fold left.

* Vacuum family room

* Go to fire station with boys- we are heading out now :)

So we are heading to go see the fire trucks. The boys are very excited. Their lucky I'm still even taking them, though, after them driving me crazy all day. They uprooted half the flowers in my garden today. Grr. Anyway, I'll be sure to take pics :D

Daddy's Little Helper

I have to share this adorable pic. Every time Hubby goes out to mow the lawn Jason has to go out with his fake lawn mower (thanks Cindy! he loves it) and "help" mow the grass. It is so cute. I love seeing him try to help and be like Daddy. Makes my heart melt. He's always wanting to help Hubby fix things too, with his little toy tools. Definitely makes me love having little boys.

Monday Madness

How was everyone's weekend? Ours was pretty boring and normal. Any fun plans for this week? I just have an orthodontist appointment on Thursday. Oh, and I'm taking the boys to a fire station tomorrow. My sister's new boyfriend is a firefighter and he's going to show them around and let them ride in a fire truck. I'm sure they will love it. Plus this month in preschool we are talking about occupations and one is firefighter, so it goes along with that :) I think that's all we have planned for this week. Today I'm just going to do some laundry and dishes like normal. If I feel productive I might go tackle the playroom again, and purge some of the toys, then start going through the box of baby clothes I got out last night to see what we have for baby Nathan.

Sunday Saying

"Men do change, and change comes like a little wind that ruffles the curtains at dawn, and it comes like the stealthy perfume of wildflowers hidden in the grass."
- John Steinbeck

It can be really hard to change habits. There are tons of things I'm always wishing I could just immediately change about myself, but it never seems like I really get anywhere. But if I look at the bigger picture and imagine myself 5 years ago or something, it's easier to see how I have changed. Change comes slowly and subtly, but it does happen.

No commercials

Right now we are watching "Fun with Dick and Jane". It's a funny show, but not one I really want to watch over and over. But I mention it because I am amazed that there have been very few commercials during the show. when I watch TV are tons of commercials for Chicago personal injury lawyers, fast food, a handbag that holds everything, etc. But maybe it's just this channel. At least if I'm watching a show I don't want to watch it's going by quickly since there aren't so many interruptions lol.

Memories

You know how you can buy a memory upgrade for your computer? Well, I wish I could buy one for my brain lol. My memory gets worse with each kid. Which reminds me, I need to go write down a few appointments on my calendar before I forget again. I have an orthodontist appointment on Thursday and my next OB appointment is next week, though I can't remember if it's Monday or Tuesday. Wait, haha, I forgot that I already wrote them down :P See, that's bad, I can't even remember something I already remembered before.

Switches

When we lived at my parent's house for 2 months I could never figure out how to work their TV. They have a bigger TV than us and all the electronics like the DVD player and satellite receiver where connected to this switch box, kind of like a KVM box, and there were switches on the front to control with device was working. I just couldn't get anything to work, or figure out what switch turned on what. I always had to call in a sibling to turn the dang thing on for me lol. Luckily it's much easier with our TV, we just change the TV channel to switch from DVD to satellite to Wii.

Running late

Today we were almost late to church. You'd think with it being just 2 doors down it would be easy to be on time, but you'd be wrong. Something always comes up that makes us just a little late. Today it was because I actually ironed our church clothes today, which ended up taking longer than I expected. I didn't even get a chance to get myself all ready. I was going to put on some makeup (I hardly ever do), wear my new earrings with freshwater pearls, and maybe even straighten my hair. But I didn't get to do any of that because by the time I got the boys all ready we had about 2 minutes to get to church. We made it right as they were about to start. So at least we weren't late.

Camera Critters

Want to share your pictures of animals? Check out the weekly Camera Critters meme.

Well, I did it. I finally caught the garden-nibbler in action. Not a squirrel or a cat or any critter on 4 legs. Birds! I looked out the window one day and finally saw what had been eating things in my garden. And of course instead of immediately going out and scaring them off I had to hurry and get a pic lol. Could have got a better pic too if the boys hadn't run out and scared them off :)

I now have a little flashy wind wheel thing out there to hopefully keep them away and it seems to be working. As much as I like wildlife, I don't want them in my garden! :)

Maw-na-milner

So my boys have recently learned about Bob the Builder. They absolutely love him. Jakey says his name "Maw-na-milner" it is so cute. And it's nice that it is a cute little show that I am comfortable with them watching and it teaches things like teamwork and recycling. The latest movie we borrowed from the library has a lot of stuff about "Reduce, reuse, recycle" in it. Like instead of just shingles or metal roofing they used solar panels as well to power a factory. So it's nice that my boys can learn a little about environmentally friendly stuff while enjoying their show.

Upcoming anniversary

Our 5th anniversary is next Friday. A lot has happened in those 5 years. I wish we could afford a jet charter to a remote location where we could relax alone a few days, but since that's out of our budget we are settling for dinner and a movie. We'll go to Olive Garden, our favorite restaurant, and then to see the new Batman movie. Should be lots of fun. I need to see if my sister will be able to watch the boys, or my other little sisters would probably love to come over for the night to be with them. It's nice to have lots of family nearby who are willing to watch the boys for us when needed.

Losing weight

Hubby has been doing really good with his weight loss efforts. He watches what he eats more, not eating so much junk and only had one pop in the last few weeks. He also exercises on his lunch breaks. So far he's lost about 5 lbs in about 3weeks, and he didn't even need to use Phentermine weight loss pills or anything. I really hope it keeps up and he wins the competition.

Sad story

I recently read a story about a woman who passed away in her sleep from heart problems at a young age. She was only in her mid 30s and had two children, the youngest being just a few months old. It is so sad. They had no warning that this would happen and I feel so sorry for this family. I can't imagine what it would be like for my boys if something like that happened to me. It really stresses the importance of watching your health and making sure you have at least some term life insurance in case something unexpected does happen.

Saturday

Today is shopping day. Every Saturday we go grocery shopping for the following week. It's kind of nice to have this scheduled family outing lol. Even if it's just to WalMart, we are all together and get out of the house. I need to make up our grocery list and put Jakey down for a nap first, then we can go.

We have no other plans for today, so I'm hoping I can get a nap. I'm starting to have an even harder time sleeping since I'm getting more uncomfortable every day. I was hoping to get to sleep in this morning, but Hubby wouldn't get up off the couch and get the boys breakfast. Instead they dumped a whole box of cereal on the floor and I had to get up and clean it up. :P Good thing they are so cute.

How old are your tires, really?

A friend of mine from a messageboard and fellow mommy blogger, Karla, shared this and I thought it was very important and decided to pass it on. Click this link for the story. This is a news video about how old tires are re-treaded and sold as new tires. The danger in this is that tire integrity breaks down over time and the new tread can come off and cause fatal accidents. I just went and checked the tires on our van and car (yes, I'm preggo and scooted myself under both to check lol, I'm sure it looked funny) and luckily mine actually were new when we bought them with dates of 2006 and 2007, so I feel better. I will definitely be checking the dates on any "new" tires we have to buy in the future.

To check the date on your tires, find the row of number starting with DOT. You may have to look on the inside of the tire because until very recently this number was imprinted on the inside. The last 3-4 digits following the DOT is the clue to the date. The first 2 numbers are the week it was made and the last 1-2 numbers is the year. For example on my van the number was 1507, meaning made in the 15th week of 2007. A 3 digit number means it would have been made in the 1990's. Like 517 would mean the 51st week of 1997. In the following pic you can see the date would be the 27th week of 2004.
Please make sure you and your family are driving on safe tires. End of PSA :)

Enforcing the law

So today I had to take my little sisters home, go drop something off at work for my sister who lives with us, go back to my mom's for the boys and then come home. I swear there were more police vehicles out today than I normally see in a month. It was crazy, every few minutes I passed a patrol car sitting on the side of the road or saw a highway patrol vehicle going by. And it was everywhere I went today, not just in one area. Luckily I usually go the speed limit and obey traffic laws, though I had to hurry and slow down once because I wasn't paying attention and almost sped past a patrol car with the policeman sitting there using his radar on everyone. It was just really odd to see so much enforcement out today for no apparent reason.

Not so bad

So yesterday at the scout camp wasn't too bad. I really didn't have to do anything except be there to keep track of the boys. So I just sat there and read a book during their little classes. It just stinks that it was outside all day. Luckily there was a lot of shade and it's a little cooler in the mountains. The day actually went by quicker than I expected. Then I spent the rest of my day at home being lazy cuz I was tired lol. The boys were good at my mom's house, Jason even pooped on the potty and not in his underwear (now if I could get him to do that for me!) and they had fun. We brought my little sisters home to spend the night and I need to take them home in a few hours. I think I'm going to go out and water the garden while it's still cool out.

Unfinished business

A lot of people who find out I never finished college ask if I'll ever go back. I think I might when the kids are all in school (which at the rate I pop them out could be a long time away lol!). I don't want a career as an accountant or futures broker or anything like that, but I think it's always good to have a degree in something to fall back on if needed. The problem is because I'm not interested in a career it's hard to choose a useful degree to pursue. Although I could get a degree in liberal arts or something, what could I really use it for? So it's hard to find something I'm interested in that would actually be useful. Maybe when I figure that out I'll finally go back lol.

No VCR

We don't use a VCR much (I don't think I know many people who still do lol) because ours is broken. When you have toddlers who enjoy shoving everything from hot dogs to colored pencils in it then it's bound to die quickly. But I still have a box of VHS (mostly stuff like VeggieTales) that I would like to be able to use so I need to keep my eyes open for electronic deals at WalMart or something to see if I can find a cheap new VCR one of these days. We do have a built in VCR in the tiny TV in the master bedroom and it works, except that you can't rewind videos or it eats the tape. No wonder DVD players are so much more popular! lol

Friday's Feast

Appetizer

When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?

- OK, it was right before we moved here so beginning of March. I've had it dyed since then but am due for a trim.

Soup

Name one thing you miss about being a child.

- Not worrying about money.

Salad

Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.

- Um, depends on the use? I have no idea, but I think we use margarine the most.

Main Course

If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?

- Spanish, I took classes in high school but forgot most of it. It would be the most useful I think since it seems to be the 2nd most used language in the USA.

Dessert

Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…

- In the same home doing the same stuff, with another couple kids added in :)

Gonna be a long day

Well, today I am going to be gone most of the day. I guess it's good for an Internet addict like me to be forced to take a few hours away from the computer lol. I hope today goes by fast so I can be back home in my nice air conditioned house again. It's supposed to be around 100* today! Isn't that crazy?! Ok, I know for some of you that is normal and maybe even cooler than what you get this time of year, but for tired preggo me that is HOT! So I will be back later this evening sometime. Hope you all have a great day!

Early to bed, early to rise...

Tonight I have to get to bed early. Tomorrow I am spending all day at the cub scout's Cub Country day camp. Yeah, 8am-4pm out in the hot sun. Doesn't sound fun for me, but I guess I'll live. Oh, I better remember to put some water bottles in the freezer before I head to bed, I want to make sure I have plenty of cold water with me. And I need to pack a lunch and some snacks. My mom is going to watch the boys all day for me since my sister works tomorrow. Hopefully the day goes by fast.

Shopping!

So we went shopping and I got some really cute new shirts with the help of my sister. I got 4 shirts and 2 tank tops. My sister showed me two stores where we can find cheap clothes that are name brand, just stuff that was extras or has tiny flaws and stuff. The first is called Market Square, and they didn't have very much but we did find one cute white shirt that I'm wearing right now. Then we headed to this great store called Plato's Closet. OMG I loved that store! They had a TON of cute clothes. Unfortunately since I'm preggo most were too small lol, but I am definitely shopping there again when I get skinny again. The prices were soooo cheap. I got a cute blue shirt for $4. I tried on a ton more but that was the only one that looked good on me. I wish we'd had time (and the kids hadn't been so crazy) to look through more, we didn't even check out half the shirts available there. Then we headed to Down East Home outlet and got my 2 tank tops (white with lace, and black) and a red wonder tee (love those tees). Then we had to go to WalMart for something else and we found a cute shirt there too. So I got those 6 adorable items for around $60 total, not too bad. I am so happy to have some more shirts to choose from now.

Mac n Cheese

For as long as I can remember my favorite food has been macaroni and cheese. I could eat it every day. Wait, I already do! lol I have it almost every day for lunch. I'm eating some right now. Yummy yummy. And it's one of the things that the boys will always eat so we all win. Sure I like lots of other foods like cheesecake and ice cream, but mac n cheese is something that always sounds good. But I am picky about the brand. I hate Kraft mac n cheese and most other brands aren't very good. My favorite is Western Family brand. Mmm. Anyway, now that we are done with lunch we gotta get ready to go shopping! Yay!

Clothes shopping

So today my little sister is taking me shopping. She knows where all the good stores are that sale name brand stuff at cheap prices. Kind of like the deals you get with coupon codes online, but I much prefer to shop for clothes in person, cuz something that may look good on a model might not look so good on me. Mostly I just want a few new shirts, a tank top or two to go under some shirts, and maybe a pair of pants. I'm trying to keep it to around $50, so hopefully we find some good deals.

Good thing it's Wednesday

Today is Wednesday right? OK, good. The days are all blurring together and I don't want it to be Thursday yet lol. Cuz tomorrow I have to spend all day out at the cub country scout day camp thing and I'm not looking forward to it. Not that I don't think it'll be fun but it'll be hot (supposed to be around 100*) and being preggo and all just makes me tired thinking about being out all day in the sun without somewhere comfortable to sit and no Internet. I need to remember to bring lots of water with me, and maybe if I figure out how to work Hubby's ipod I can bring that. If anyone knows how ipods work and can tell me how to get music from a CD onto the ipod that would be great lol. I could read the instructions but that's no fun.

Halfway Belly

Well, I was going to head to bed, but then I remembered that I promised to post my recent belly pic for you all :) It's not a very good pic (of course, most pics of me aren't very good lol) but oh well. I really need to have my sister teach me how to dress nice and do my hair all pretty while she's living here. She's just so cute and fashionable. Anyway, here is me and my growing belly. Ugh, I just realized I am wearing ugly pj pants in this pic lol. I really need to pay attention to what I take pics of myself wearing.

Heads or Tails: O

It's been a while since I joined in Heads or Tails, cuz I just keep forgetting lol. Anyway, this week's theme is "Anything that starts with the letter O". So here are a few things that start with O:

Octopus- cuz for some reason that's the first thing that pops into my mind for O lol. I tried to eat octopus once, when we were in Cancun. OMG it made me gag. It was so rubbery and disgusting I had to spit it out so I wouldn't throw up.

Orange- yummy, juicy, citrus fruit. Mmm. I like orange flavored candies too.

Olives- I remember as kids the appeal of the olive was to put them on all 10 fingers and then eat them. Now my fingers are too big, but my kids sure love to do it.

Oklahoma!- I saw this musical on Broadway in New York and it was great. It's a fun show with catchy music. Ooooooooooo-klahoma...

Join in Heads or Tails every Tuesday.

Been a good day

So, I didn't really do much on my to-do list. Actually I don't think I did any of it lol. Oh wait, I did get the boys to help clean the playroom earlier, but you can't even tell now lol. And I did clean the downstairs bathroom too, I almost forgot. So I guess I wasn't completely lazy lol. I'm sure I'll get dishes done before bed.

I even got to nap today! :O Jakey slept for 2.5hrs which is unheard of lately, since he normally naps for maybe an hour. And Jason fell asleep watching a show too, so it was quiet and I got to sleep for an hour or so. Love days when I get a nap :)

Tomorrow I might go clothes shopping with my sister. I need to see if I have the money first, but I really need some new clothes, especially shirts. I only have a few maternity shirts and am pretty much outgrown my regular shirts, they keep riding up my belly lol. I guess I should post a new belly pic on here for all of you who want to see. :) I took one last week so I'll do that later.

Tuesday To-Do

I'd much rather just go back to sleep, but since that isn't possible, here's what I should do today:

* Vacuum

* Dishes

* Clean downstairs bathroom

* Playroom

That sounds like enough :) Dang, I can barely keep my eyes open right now and the day just started! The boys are being good so I think I'm going to just lay on the couch for a bit while they play.

Baby clothes

So, I don't need much for this baby since we already have boy stuff. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to look at every online baby boutique store I see. There are so many cute things I want! I need to go through my boys' old clothes to see what is still usable before I even consider buying any baby clothes. There are a few things we will need, like a new swing and diapers, but those aren't nearly as fun to buy as cute little outfits lol.

Soap pump

I swear if my memory gets any worse I'm going to forget my own name lol. I have to keep apologizing for forgetting things. I don't know why my memory is so bad. Maybe it has to do with my little ones killing off my brain cells one by one lol. All week I kept reminding myself of something at the store I needed to get, but every time we went I forgot what it was. Well, so I don't forget again I am going to write it down- a soap pump for the downstairs bathroom. There, now I just need to remember that I wrote it down here lol :D

Happy 4th of July!!!

OK, I know this is a bit late :) We ended up being gone almost all day at the park with my family and didn't get home until 12:30 last night. We had a lot of fun. We barbecued, sat around for hours doing nothing, then watched the fireworks. It was nice. Except for Jason throwing up all over himself after choking on a carrot. Luckily I'd brought extra pants for him, but he went shirtless the rest of the day. And then changing his poopy underwear in a little port-a-potty wasn't fun either. Jakey loved Grandma's homemade rootbeer and we had to keep trying to stop him from getting more cuz he was spilling it all over. So by the end of the day he was stripped down to his diaper cuz his clothes were soaked. I didn't have to worry about the boys being afraid of the fireworks, because by that time they were exhausted from the long day. Jakey fell asleep before they even started, and Jason curled up on my brother's lap and fell asleep halfway through. Our long day ended with it taking us 2 hours to get home, normally a 30min drive at most. It took almost an hour just to get out of the park, then another 45 mins fighting the crazy traffic to get to the freeway. Amazing how many people were out there.

Anyway, so that was our fun day :) I hope everyone else had a great day! God bless our country and the men and women who serve it.

What are your plans?

So what are everyone's plans for the 4th of July? Going out of town, barbecuing, watching fireworks? We are going to be having a bbq with my family, though I don't know when or where lol. Oh, dang, just remembered I need to think of a side dish to bring. Hm. Then I'm sure we'll go watch the fireworks with them. Hubby bought a pack of fireworks today so before bed tomorrow we can light some fireworks on our patio. Hopefully the boys won't be terrified of them like they were last year lol. If so I guess we'll watch Hubby set them off from the kitchen window :D

Thankful Thursday

Today I am so very thankful that we have a working a/c. It is 100* right now and I can't imagine not having a/c. I am also thankful that Hubby was able to have some guys from church help him fix our sprinkler system so it works and we don't have to move hoses around. I am thankful that my sister who lives with us was able to get a job (rent yay!) and that she's so helpful with the boys. And I am thankful that Hubby has tomorrow off for the 4th of July. Yay for 3 day weekends!

What are you thankful for?

Here kitty kitty

Our poor cats. They are constantly being dragged around by the boys. Today Jason just won't leave them alone and keeps trapping them under the end table and putting blankets and laundry baskets in the way so they can't get out. He keeps getting scratched but I have no sympathy. I've told him over and over to just leave them alone and they won't scratch him, but evidently he feels the pain is worth it lol.

Wednesday

So what is everyone up to on this beautiful Wednesday? I keep thinking it's Thursday, probably because of the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Hubby has Friday off so tomorrow will be like his Friday. I have no plans for today. Except for cleaning the family room and vacuuming since I never got around to it yesterday. I did get my big bathroom clean though, which is nice. I should probably do some laundry today too, or at least fold a few loads that are sitting at the foot of my bed. My boys are trying to drive me crazy today, but luckily they have been interspersing bouts of cuteness between times of chaos, so I haven't completely lost my patience lol. The day is nice and sunny and supposed to be mid-90s so I'm sure they'll play outside a lot. Oh, just realized my lunch is ready.

July

So today is the first day of July. Hard to believe this year is already half gone! It is going by so quickly. I don't know why the weeks just seem to be speeding by. And this month we have our anniversary and Hubby's birthday as well as the 4th of July and maybe camping in Bear Lake around the 24th-ish, and a few other family birthdays. So every week we have something. This week the 4th, next week I have to go with the scouts to their day camp for a whole day, then our anniversary the next week, camping the next, and Hubby's bday the last week. Busy month! Hopefully that will make the hot summer continue to pass quickly.

Taking my time

I think this is the longest I've ever taken to clean a bathroom lol. I started about 1.5 hrs ago and haven't gotten very far lol. I have to keep stopping for breaks cuz I'm tired, then I had to make lunch. So I have the mirror and shower glass cleaned and the counter wiped down. Still need to tackle our huge tub and yucky toilet and try to scrub rust stains out of the shower. Fun stuff.

I did go out and deadhead some roses and flowers (clip the old dead stuff off) so hopefully they will grow a bit better and look nicer. I need to rig up something to go around my potato plants cuz they are growing so much and so fast, and they need to be boxed in so I can pile on more soil. Wish I'd read more about growing potatoes before starting, I would've used the "tire method" to grow them.

Anyway, I'm done with my mac n' cheese, so I guess I better go finish the bathroom :P

Tuesday To-Do

On my list today:

* Clean family room

* Vacuum

* Clean bathrooms

* Playroom

I don't think we have anywhere to go or anything today. I really need to clean bathrooms today, especially the master bathroom. So I am going to try to get those done. And maybe I'll get up the nerve to tackle the playroom again. I really think I'm going to take out half the toys in there. The boys just throw everything on the floor and don't play with most of it. What would be nice is to have locking toy boxes lol, then I could make it so they only can play with stuff when I say hahaha.
