Write it down

Have you ever noticed that when you really need something to write with you can't find one? Someone calls and you need to write down a phone number so you go scrambling for anything to write with while keeping up a constant chatter "K, just a sec...oh, that pen won't work...sorry...still looking for something to...got it!...oh, never mind, just a sec...", but the pens are all out of ink, the pencils are too dull, the 2-year old left the caps off all the markers and they dried out, and the crayons are broken into too small pieces to use? Finally you manage to find a working pen after digging through the bottom of your purse and fishing out one of those personalized pens you accidentally took from the bank, but then you feel stupid for making the person wait so long just so they could say "Oh, he has my number already, I just need him to call me." I don't know why it's so hard to find a dang pen when you need one! So the other day I went and bought a new pack of pens, now I just need to throw out the other dead ones lying around and put those pens where I can find them.

Even when you buy a new pack of pens, in a ratio of about 1 day per pen they will all become mysteriously lost! Crazy, huh? LOL We have the pen problem at our house too. Stinks.
