Saturday Saying

"When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don't throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer."
- Corrie Ten Boom, author and Holocaust survivor

I think this is a great quote! When you are confused or feel lost and like the world is all dark and you can't see the light, you have to just keep going and trust that God knows what he's doing and will get you through. I think it's especially powerful because it comes from a Holocaust survivor.

Ohh.. I read her book.. but darn if I can think of the name of it now. It was very powerful, though!

Ooh, I read that book! It's "The Hiding Place." It's full of wonderful insights; what an example she is. Great quote.
