Breakfast at my house

When Toddler got up this morning (toddler is easier to type than 2yr old lol) I asked him what he wanted for breakfast. This is how the conversation went:

Me: What do you want to eat?
Him: *says nothing*
Me: Do you want cereal, or oatmeal? (we always have cereal or oatmeal)
Him: No
Me: Then what do you want?
Him: Hungee
Me: OK, so do you want cereal?
Him: No
Me: Do you want oatmeal?
Him: No
Me: What do you want?
Him: Eat
Me: Well, what do you want to eat?
Him: Eat, hungee
Me: Eat what?! Cereal?
Him: No
Me: Oatmeal?
Him: No
Me: What then?! Anything?
Him: No
(This goes on for about 2 more minutes)
Me: You need to eat breakfast, what will you eat?
Him: Hungee, eat
Me: Eat cereal?
Him: Uh-huh, si-wee-oh!
Me: *bangs head against counter repeatedly*

*Repeat daily until you give up or go insane.

(ETA- I only offer cereal and oatmeal for breakfast so I don't turn into a short order cook, making whatever he feels like all the time lol)

Oh my goodness Kara, that's sooo cute! LOL Of course, I'm sure you don't think it's quite so cute, especially since you're the one who puts up with it day in and day out! *HUGS* to you . . . and here's hoping J. learns "YES" soon for ya! :)

I can identify with this one!

Me: What do you want?
My two-year-old: Wha-Want!

*bangs head on Kara's counter alongside her* ;-)

LOL Oh the indecisiveness of a two year old. That's when you stop asking and give them something. lol

But, then when they get older it's well what kind of cereal/oatmeal do we have! *LOL*
