SMART Habit Saturday

I'm going to make this one short today. I'm doing good on prayers, computer time, and laundry, but can do better. Everything else, even my habits I thought were solid, hasn't been as well. For the next few weeks I'll be putting all my goals back on my Joe's Goals sheet to work on them better. I'm not even going to show this weeks, partly because it's embarrassing lol, and partly cuz I'm exhausted and need to get to bed.

My new goal this week will be hopefully an easy one, since I want to focus more on my current goals. My goal will be to put my lotion on every day. I have psoriasis and so my skin is really flaky and itchy. When I use my lotion it is so much better, but lately I've only been using it a few times a week. I want to use it every day so that I will look and feel better.

Goal Recap:
#1- Clean 1/2hr a day
#2- Keep up with dishes
#3- Brush teeth once a day
#4- Read scriptures daily
#5- Toddler bedtime routine
#6- Bedtime 11:30pm
#7- 50 crunches a day
#8- Take vitamins every day
#9- No computer for 1hr after work, church, or Hubby gets home from work
#10- 1 load of laundry each morning, put away by bedtime
#11- Daily prayers, morning and night
#12- Have dinner done or cooking when DH gets home, 3x during the week
#13- Lotion every day

It's always nice to add an easier pampering habit in when you are trying to work on past goals. I do the same thing. Good luck this week!

I'm having to work on my past habits this week too. You have so many that are good and habits already I'm in awe. I only have four and am having trouble!

Great habit! I have really dry skin too. It doesn't help that I live in a desert! I buy the thickest foot cream I can and cover my whole body with it every day, including my face!

I love the fact that you're using a habit that is dedicated JUST to taking care of you....we often tend to forget about ourselves in the struggle to take care of everyone else :)

I used to do the lotion thing each night. Mmm, some yummy smelling lotion right before bed is a great habit to get into! Good luck. Looks like you've done really well adding habits so far!!

funny isn't it how something that seems as simple as putting on lotion can be so hard to do at times! i know that i always slack off on the things that are good for me. good luck with your goal for the week and don't be too worried about needed to work on past habits. i think things tend to go that way. we do really well for a while and then slack off a bit until we pull our selves up by the boot straps and get back to it. have a great week!

I did the lotion goal a while ago and loved it. My feet were so much better in just a few days. Hope your skin loves the lotion too.
