SMART Habit Saturday

Wow, I haven't posted for this in a month! Probably because I'm doing so horrible with most of the goals lol. I haven't even read through my goals since then, I just did and wow I'm not doing most of them lol. The only ones I do good on almost all the time are making dinners (now that I have a monthly menu plan it's easy) and getting to bed before 11:30. The bedtime has gotten a lot easier since it gets dark so early I feel tired sooner. I really want to focus on reading my scriptures every day. I feel so bad that I stopped doing that. Hopefully with the start of the new year coming up I can get motivated to do these better.

SMART Habit Saturday

I did ok this week. I was trying to get back into the habit of Toddler's bedtime routine and I think I did it about half of the week, so that's good. There are still some goals that need a lot of work, but some are mostly habits. Like bedtime by 11:30, I can hardly stay up past 10:30 so that's working. And I bring dishes to the kitchen and keep up with dishes most of the time. So I'll just keep working on them all :)

SMART Habit Saturday

I'm still a slacker lol. I have done better with saying my prayers at night, but only read my scriptures a few days. Dishes usually get done every day. The rest I mostly don't do :P What I really want to work on is Toddler's bedtime routine. We got out of the habit, but itworked so well so I'm going to start it again.

SMART Habit Saturday

I haven't posted for SHS for the last 3 weeks, mostly cuz I just want worrying about my goals. I do okay on some of them, like my stay off the computer for an hour after hubby gets home, I do that most of the time now. I also try to keep up with dishes and bring dishes to the kitchen. I make dinner usually 4 times during the week. I've started taking my vitamins again. But the rest I've really just stopped doing. I mostly want to get back in the habits of reading my scriptures and saying prayers. So I'm going to work on that again this week.

Well, still not doing too well. I think this week I'm just going to focus on a few and not worry about the rest. I'm going to focus on reading my scriptures and saying my prayers, because I know when I do those I am in a much better mood, and hopefully being in a happy mood will help the rest just come naturally.

SMART Habit Saturday

Since I'm going to be gone for 2 days I figured I better post this today. I've been doing pretty good at my most recent goal to drink 4 cups of water a day, and I've done good with a few others but I'm still slacking on my cleaning goals and my nightly routines. But oddly I don't feel much remorse about it this week lol. So I'll just keep plugging away at it and maybe one day they'll start coming naturally.

SMART Habit Saturday

I didn't do too bad this week :) I still have been terribly slacking in my cleaning goals. I really need to work on that this week. My new goal was drinking 4 cups of water a day. I forgot about it half the week but I did do it the last 3 days so that's great. I have a 32oz mug I fill up in the morning and put at my desk and just drink from it throughout the day. No new goals this week, just keep working on the ones that need it, mainly the cleaning. I'm thinking I might switch my goal of 1 load of laundry a day to maybe just having 2 laundry days a week. Not sure though, I'll try it out and see if that works better for me.

SMART Habit Saturday

I did a bit better this week :) Not perfect but an improvement over the last few weeks. One thing I haven't been doing well is all my nightly routines like lotion, floss, crunches, and vitamins. I really need to work on doing those. But I did better this week and am just going to keep working on everything :) I will add one new goal since it has been a while. I want to drink at least 4 cups of water each day. I know I should be drinking 8 cups of water every day but I don't :P 4 cups is a good start.

So, I have been doing so horribly on all my goals, even the ones that had become habits, now I need to start all over on those. I was doing awesome with saying my prayers and reading scriptures, but even that has declined, so I really want to focus on those this week. I'm going to print out my goal list so I can see it more often during the day and hopefully remind myself of what I should be doing.

Well, I was trying to focus on my flossing goal and crunches but didn't do too well. I did do my crunches 2-3 times, but didn't floss at all. Been a busy week with sick kids and all. I didn't do quite a few goals very often. I'm going to keep trying this week though.

SMART Habit Saturday

Anyway, I did ok this week. I did all of my goals at least once this week, except for crunches, which I did not do at all. So that will be my focus this week, to do my crunches every day. Last week I focused on flossing, but unfortunately I only did it 1 day (which is still better than 0 lol), so I'll be focusing on that again as well. I still don't feel ready to add another goal because I have so many that need a lot of work, but hopefully next month I will.

SMART Habit Saturday

Last week I was focusing on my laundry goal. I'm happy that I was able to get caught up on the piles, though I still need to work on doing a load a day. I'm still not adding a new goal yet, because I just have too many too work on and not doing well on most of them lol. But I'm going to focus on my flossing goal this week. I definitely need to be flossing more, so that's what I'm going to work on this week as well as trying to get myself motivated to do my other goals. I'm still doing good on prayers, scriptures, vitamins, dinner, making my bed, and bringing dishes to the kitchen. So it's not all bad, but the others I've only been doing ok on some and not at all for others. So I'll just keep working on them and hope they become habits some day.

Well, I still haven't been doing too well on my goals. There are about 4 that I haven't even done at all this week. Of course there are a few that I do every day too, so that's good. But for this week I'm going to just keep working on what I have, I have really been slacking on a lot of my cleaning goals, so I'm going to work extra hard on those this week. SMART Habit Saturday

I've done pretty well this week on most of my goals. There are still a few, like laundry and flossing, that I slacked off on again. But overall I think I did well. I want to work harder on our bedtime routines this week. Obviously since I'm writing this at almost 1am, I haven't been doing as well as I could lol.

This week my new goal is one I've already been working on this week- making my bed every morning. I really love how much neater it automatically makes my room look and much more pleasant to crawl into at the end of the day.

SMART Habit Saturday

I did pretty good this week on most of my goals, there are still a few I've been slacking on, like flossing and laundry. I wash the laundry but never get it put away. So I need to work on those 2 better, but the rest did mostly good. Cleaning and bedtime need some work too, but not too horrible.

My new goal is going to be to clean up in the office each day. It doesn't get cleaned often enough and when I sit in here I feel surrounded by junk. So if I clean it up a bit each night when I log off it should stay in pretty good shape.

SMART Habit Saturday

I did much better this week than I did the last two weeks. There are still a few that I didn't do so hot on this week. Like laundry, although I got it washed, it is sitting in piles in my room waiting to be folded and put away. I haven't been cleaning much and only flossed once this week. I'm doing better at my nighttime routine stuff for me and Toddler, and still doing pretty good for prayers and bringing dishes to the kitchen. I am doing great with reading scriptures every day, having one straight hour off the computer when Hubby is home, and making dinner 3x a week. Since I'm still trying to work on so many goals I'm not going to add another today, but I will next week since it's a new month.

SMART Habit Saturday

I'm still not doing too good at keeping up with my habits. I'm seem to go through spurts of doing really good and doing really horrible. I think part of it is the heat, now that it's so warm I just don't feel like doing anything. I'm doing really good at my newest goal of getting dishes to the kitchen instead of laying around the house, not perfect but much better. Doing awesome at prayers, scriptures, and computer time. Doing pretty bad with all my bedtime stuff, haven't even flossed once this week. I've barely been getting dishes done and getting behind in laundry. SMART Habit Saturday

This week I did not do well. I started out good, but got really really bad. For example, out of my 15 or so goals, Friday I did only 3. Yeah, that bad. The only goal I'm doing every day is reading my scriptures, thanks to getting it sent to me in an email every day. Surprisingly out of the ones I am doing better at, I'm getting to bed by 11:30 most nights. Only missed that Tuesday because I didn't get home from out of town until after 11. The rest of my goals flew out the window and I was too tired to go catch them and bring them back lol. But I am going to do better! I am going to work harder at them all this week, I promise!
