Saturday Saying

"I do want to get rich but I never want to do what there is to do to get rich."
- Gertrude Stein

This quote is me lol, and probably many other people. We all want more money but don't really want to do what it takes to have money- work harder, save, budget, etc. We live in a society of instant gratification. We want everything and we want it now, and if we can't afford it we go into debt to get it. Hopefully one day I'll overcome this foolishness, we really are trying.

It sure is a generational thing...we have the same problem. Why should we have it before we've earned it? It defies all logic, but there you go. ~wry smile~

It's definitely a hard habit to break. I've seen how much stress it has put on our family alone having so much debt. It's a hard mindset to get out of.
