Monday Madness

So today is going pretty much like normal. Jason and Little T are napping and Jakey is driving me insane lol. But I guess that's ok, he's not feeling well today. He's had a fever around 101* so I've been cuddling him and trying to keep him happy. Now that his medicine has kicked in he's acting much happier and tormenting the kitten. Speaking of kittens, I don't know if I mentioned that we got rid of them all. Well, the one we have, Tiger, is spoken for but we get to keep him until Christmas Eve, he's a present for one of Hubby's coworkers little girls. The runt, Monkey, was taken in by my mother-in-law and they love him to pieces, he's doing very good with them, plus we'll get to see him once in a while. And my favorite, big, fluffy, Junior, we took to the local pet store and they took him in. I hope a nice family adopts him. So after Christmas we will once again have just our 3 adult cats. Kind of sad, but we really couldn't afford to keep the kittens.

Well, that's my day, pretty much normal :) I'm so excited that Christmas is next week!

Monday Madness

Well, not much to do today. I only watch Little T. Little I's mom came by yesterday and let me know they are having another friend watch him because that friend needs the money. I'm kind of sad because I was enjoying having a little baby to cuddle and the money would have been helpful. I'm still their backup and they don't know if the situation will be permanent or temporary. Sigh. My boys are playing and Little T is napping so I'm just chilling. Got some laundry going and need to fold laundry today. I finally got the boys' room cleaned yesterday, they have a floor again! A clean floor! Very nice. Now I just need to get my room under control, the baskets of clean laundry and dirty laundry on the floor are starting to take over, I'm afraid that one of these days it'll come alive and eat us in our sleep.

Monday Madness

Ugh, I am not having a fun day. I got a cold or something, my throat is sore, I have a little cough, stuffy nose, headache, and can't think straight. Then my boys did not want to nap and woke up Little Baby from a nap so he wasn't happy, and he fell and bonked his eye and he had to go for pictures today tired and with a swollen eye. Crazy. But now my boys are asleep, Little Baby left and I took some medicine and dinner is smelling delicious in the crockpot, so hopefully the rest of the day will be better.

Well, we had a busy weekend in SLC with my family and are home again. Back to the normal routine. We need milk and I need to clean and do laundry. The boys are already driving me crazy today. I'm thinking I might pack them up and go to the mall to play at the little play area thing sometime today. First I'm going to go make some pancakes for breakfast, that will keep them entertained for a bit, then they'll need baths to un-stickify them, then maybe we'll get out of the house by noon lol.

So I totally forgot that banks and libraries were closed today. Little Baby's mom had the day off, I mentioned to Hubby that we wouldn't be any mail today, but for some reason it didn't occur to me that the bank and library would also be closed for Veteran's Day. I didn't realize it until I got to the bank and it was closed so I had to turn around and go back home. I think I just didn't get enough sleep last night, my brain isn't working properly.

In other news, I've found myself saying "Cuz Mommy says so" an awful lot lately lol. All day long Toddler is asking "why?" and "what?" and that's just the easiest answer :D

I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. The time change has messed us all up over here and the boys are napping weird and going to sleep early and waking up early. We are all tired. But other than that is going normally. I was hoping to go to Ian's funeral, or at least the viewing, tomorrow, but I don't have anyone to watch the boys. I don't think I have any other plans this week. Anyone doing anything fun?

My head is pounding. My eyes don't want to stay open any longer. My nerves are shot. I could never make it as a single mom. Hubby left early this morning for a work trip to Las Vegas and he won't be back until Wednesday afternoon. I am already going insane. I seriously don't know how single moms or moms with husbands away for military or work can do it. I just do not have the patience for it. As soon as I can get Baby to go to sleep I'm heading to bed. The house is a mess and dishes and laundry need done, but right now I just don't care. I just want to crawl in bed and hopefully get a good night's rest.

So after my great weekend I just need to do some cleaning and relax. It is strangely quiet without the boys here and I get bored a lot easier. Little Baby is taking a nap so I really could just try to nap too. Weird. Actually I have one hat to finish crocheting so I can mail them off today. Should only take me an hour or two to get it done. I also need to fold laundry since I never got that done before we left last week. And I might watch some movies I DVR'd last week while I crochet, since I don't need to watch cartoons all day lol. I hope my boys are having a good time with my family.

My throat still really hurts. The cool dry air at night makes it so bad. I guess I need to pull out my humidifier and see if it still works. Don't have much to do today except work on crocheting some hats and get them mailed off it I can finish them today. Already did a load of dishes, about to go put a load of laundry in the wash, and I should clean bathrooms, but that's about it for today. I'm just going to focus on keeping the house from being trashed since Hubby put so much work into helping clean this weekend.

Monday Madness

I am not in a good mood this morning. I did not get enough sleep all weekend. I don't watch Little Baby this morning so I was going to try to sleep a bit longer, but Hubby is way too loud in the mornings and woke the boys up. Sigh. Anyway, when I don't get enough sleep I tend to be really grumpy and have less patience. Hopefully I can get the boys to nap good today so I can get a bit more sleep and hopefully that will help my mood.

Wow, I can't believe it is October already! Though the SNOW we got on Saturday made it feel more like December! Stupid snow :P Anyway, today I am trying to get some cleaning done. I just finished loading and unloading the dishwasher. Baby and Little Baby are napping and Toddler is playing with a friend next door. If he comes back anytime soon I'll put him down for a nap too and maybe get a chance to lay down for a bit myself. I need to go to the library today to pick up some books on hold before my hold expires, don't let me forget! I also need to do a few loads of laundry, but it can wait for later.

Monday Madness- Bloggy Birthday!

It is so cold here today! It's 40*F. Way too cold for me! In our house it's 69* which is still too cold. I have thick, fuzzy socks on and am probably going to grab a sweater, I HATE cold! The heaters are going, trying to warm it up a bit. Doesn't help that we had a window open all night, brr. Of course my silly Toddler is still playing outside in the cold, he doesn't seem to mind it. Must be thick-skinned like his dad.

Monday Madness

Boy, taking three kids under 3 out anywhere is crazy! Today we had to go to the bank, the dollar store, and the library. I carried Little Baby in the baby sling, Toddler was pretty good at staying by me, but Baby was a terror! He kept trying to run off, crawl out of the cart, and at the library he was horrible. He kept running off and pulling books off the shelves and if I held his hand he would keep going limp so it was hard to hold him while I had Little Baby and a bag of books. The only thing that was good was that Toddler was being a great helper, trying to keep hold of him, picking up the books, and keeping track of where he ran since I couldn't keep up lol. Now I have Toddler and Little Baby laying down for naps, and hopefully Baby will fall asleep too, I know he's tired. I don't know how I'll handle going out when I start babysitting another baby in December!

Monday Madness

Today has been one of "those" days. A day where I just wanted to crawl back in bed and wake up tomorrow. Before noon I'd already had to clean up throw up and poop a few times. And had to clean up poop again a few more times throughout the day. We are working on potty training Toddler, but he still has a problem getting to the toilet in time when he has to poop. Then there was fussing, screaming, mess-making, and more all day. I have a major headache and just hope that tomorrow goes better.

Monday Madness- Bloggy Blues

It's been a crazy tiring weekend. I'm heading to bed soon and hopefully can get some good rest. For some reason I've felt so blah lately, tired and not wanting to do anything. My house is a mess, laundry and dishes just pile up but I don't even care. I'm sure part of it is that I haven't been cleaning, the mess makes me depressed and unhappy. I know if I cleaned up a bit I'd feel better but I just don't have the energy or will. It's just a crazy cycle. I haven't even felt like blogging lately, my posts have been forced out of habit, not desire. I think I'm experiencing some computer burn out. I've spent too much time on here and now it's more like a chore than anything else. I've neglected things I need to do and now feel like it's a waste, but I have a hard time pulling myself away from the computer. I really need to set myself a schedule of when I allow myself on so that I can do some things in real life like clean and play with the kids.

So I have 2 sick kids today. Not really sick, just enough to make me (and them) miserable. Toddler and Baby both have runny noses and fevers, which I think they probably got from Little Baby being sick last week. My boys get so cranky when they are sick. Little Baby is pretty good today at least, and he's finally learned to roll over front to back! Funny how excited I am over someone else's kid accomplishing things lol. Hubby stayed home today cuz he had to go to the eye doctor. He has an eye infection, owie. Tonight we are going to go eat at the new Texas Roadhouse Grill that just opened, never been there but everyone says it's delicious. Anyway, all 3 boys are down for naps, so I'm going to go eat, change the laundry around, and maybe lay down for a bit.

Monday Madness

Boy I'm tired today. Normally Hubby sleeps on the couch with Baby at night. I don't make him sleep on the couch lol, it's just cooler down there since I can't sleep with the loud a/c going in our room and Hubby gets really hot. And Baby will not sleep by himself longer than an hour, so he stays with Hubby. Baby is a light sleeper, like me, and very wiggly, but Hubby is a deep sleeper so it works perfectly. He is better at getting Baby to sleep and doesn't get woken by every toss and turn. But last night I ended up with Baby because Hubby didn't want to get up when he woke up screaming for milk. It took me over an hour to get him to sleep and then I got woken up probably 10 times during the night whenever he would move since I'm such a light sleeper. It was not a fun night. We really need to work on getting Baby to sleep better by himself. I really don't want to do cry-it-out, but I'm not sure how else to teach him to sleep by himself all night. I will try to get the boys all napping at the same time today so I can at least lay down a bit. I need to do a few loads of laundry today, but not too much cleaning since we cleaned a bunch yesterday. Maybe I'll get the bathrooms cleaned.

Monday Madness

Today we don't have anything going on. My little sister went home yesterday, my mom came and picked her up. It was fun having her here for a few days. I don't have Little Baby today or tomorrow. I tried to sleep in a little but Baby decided he wanted to get up and play at our normal time. Why don't they understand sleeping in?! Maybe I can get a nap later if I can get both boys down at the same time. Laundry needs done, and I really need to put it away instead of piling it at the foot of the bed. Oh, I better go get the chicken out of the freezer so I can defrost it and get it in the crockpot for dinner.

Back to normal. Or as close to normal as life ever gets. :) My boys are already making messes all over, dishes and laundry both need done, and I need more sleep. Little Baby will be here soon. I wonder what he'll think of the boys being home, he seemed to enjoy getting spoiled last week lol. I really need to do laundry and fold the 3 loads at the foot of my bed, we are almost out of clean clothes. And the sink is overflowing from making yummy lasagna last night, so I need to get dishes done, maybe during Little Baby's first nap. I need to go to the post office too, but can't until after the cable guy comes to look at our cable line, and he could come at any time during the day. Today is Hubby's birthday so tonight we are using a gift card he got to go to Applebee's. Yummy :D

Monday Madness

Wow, that weekend went way too fast and I did not get enough sleep. Friday night Hubby brought home "The TV" so we spent probably 2 hours rearranging furniture to make room for it. My neck still hurts from moving the entertainment center downstairs. Then we stayed up another hour or two watching TV cuz it was so cool. I didn't get to sleep until around 2:30am. Then we had a busy Saturday (did I tell you about the Harry Potter costume party we went too? Hm, guess I'll have to make another post for that) and stayed up again too late Saturday night watching a show. Of course Sunday we had church nice and early (ok, 9 isn't really that early, but it feels like it when you haven't gotten to bed until after 1 the past few nights) and I stayed up again too late last night. And the boys didn't sleep well last night either. So, I'm really tired, and if I can get all 3 boys napping at the same time today I am going to try to lay down for a bit. I need to go to the store for a bunch of stuff, plus stop at Waldenbooks in the mall to see if I can still pre-order the last Harry Potter book to pick up Friday night. I have a book I need to finish reading for an online book club, I want to finish it before I get HP7. I might just wait to go to the store when Hubby gets home from work, it's just a pain to take 3 small kids to the store by myself.
