Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that my head isn't hurting as much. And I am thankful the Jakey is napping right now, 1 down 2 to go! Little T only napped for an hour this morning, so I hope he takes a better nap this afternoon. And Jason is upstairs being quiet and hopefully cleaning his room. I am thankful that Christmas is soon, so we can finally get the presents unwrapped and the tree out of here so I can have my living room back!

I'm thankful for Little T's mom who gave us a cute Willow Tree ornament for Christmas (and some candy). And I am thankful that I got the boys' room and the playroom both cleaned this week so I feel much better about that. I'm thankful for the beautiful roses Hubby got me for my birthday and that Michelle is going to babysit the boys so we can go out to dinner and a movie this weekend.

Today I am thankful that I started watching Little I this week and he has done really well. He's at the age where he still mostly just sleeps and eats, and he's not usually fussy. And Jason and Jacob love babies so they are doing good with him. And I'm tahnkful I don't need to go anywhere today with 4 kids from 2 months to 3 years old lol.

I am thankful for my our new laptop. It is so awesome! And it makes it so much easier to watch the kids while I'm online cuz I don't have to be up in the office to get on the computer. And it's so useful for listening to music, watching DVDs, playing games, and taking on road trips. I really am glad we got it.

I am thankful that this weekend we are going to visit my family. And I am thankful that Thanksgiving is next week, I love Thanksgiving. I'm thankful that Little Baby is doing better. He has another double ear infection and was so fussy on Tuesday but yesterday he was back to his normal happy self thanks to medicine.

I am thankful that daylight savings time had teh effect of making the boys tired earlier so they go to bed a bit earlier, more free time for me at night! And I am thankful for Subway lol. When Hubby gets home I'm going to ask him to go pick up Subway for dinner instead of the spaghetti I had planned. Mmm, yummy!

I am thankful that Hubby is back from his work trip, and that he had a safe trip. I get so stressed out without his help. He is very helpful and I am thankful for that. And I'm thankful that we had a great holiday yesterday. They boys had lots of fun and we got plenty of yummy candy.

Today I'm thankful for this quiet week I've had with the boys gone. But I miss them and their little hugs and kisses, which I am also thankful for. It's crazy how I can really want some time alone without them to get some rest and get the house clean, but still miss them a ton and want them back so I can cuddle them.

Today I am thankful that I'm in a better mood today :) Hopefully it will stay that way. And I am thankful for my cute new phone. And I am thankful that we are going to see my family this weekend. Hubby and I will stay a few days, and the boys will stay a week. That will be really great. Plus my little sis is going to cut and color my hair, it needs it so bad! I'm thankful for a sister and sister-in-law who do hair, they do a great job.

I'm thankful that I got to spend a great weekend with my mom, aunt, and sisters. It was so fun! And I'm thankful that my teeth are nice and clean, even though I don't like going to the dentist it's worth it. And I am thankful Hubby is working from home today and has tomorrow off, it's a relief to have more than one adult in the house.

I am thankful that this weekend I get to go to Bear Lake with my mom, sisters, and others for a girls weekend away! No kids, no Hubby, just us ladies all hanging out! I'm so so excited!! I am also thankful that little Ian's heart transplant went well and he is on his way to recovering, what a strong little boy. Thanks to all of you who joined in with prayers for him. :)

Today I am thankful for our cute little kittens that were born this week. I love babies! I am also thankful for Toddler, who is 3 today. He is such a wonderful little boy. And I'm thankful we are going out to eat tonight to celebrate, cuz I do not feel like cooking lol.

Today I am thankful for Michelle who is going to watch my boys while I have an eye appointment, she's even taking them to storytime along with her 2, alone, she's brave! I'm thankful that I finally went to the eye dr and got new contacts (I'd been wearing the same one for at least 6 months!) and after this appt I will have a pair of backup glasses. And very thankful that after today we will have 2 doctor bills paid off, including the one from when Hubby hurt his thumb way back in February.

Today I am thankful that I was able to get out of my grumpy mood and get some cleaning done. I am very thankful for my Hubby who always helps me with the house and kids, even when he gets home after a long day. And I am thankful for Toddler's little friend. Even though they can create quite a tornado when they are together, it helps me when they go off to play and I can turn off the cartoons for a bit lol. Oh, and I'm thankful that Little Baby napped well today, all week he hasn't napped as well, but today he did and it gave me some much needed peaceful time.

Today I am thankful for cool weather and rain. Hubby just planted grass on Labor Day so the rain has been a big blessing because we won't have to water the yard all day. And the cooler weather has made the house much nicer to stay in. No a/c needed.

I am also thankful that all 3 boys are napping right now. I should be cleaning, doing dishes, etc but I decided to grab a bowl of ice cream and relax for a minute :) If I get time after finishing my ice cream then I'll do dishes.

Today I am thankful that it's almost the weekend! On Saturday is the 5k, it will be nice to have that over with :) And Hubby is almost done with getting the yard ready to plant grass, so soon he won't spend all his time out there so I might actually see him once in a while. I'm thankful we have 2 vehicles because our car is broken down and if we didn't have the van it would be harder for Hubby to get to work. And I'm thankful I have nowhere to go the next few days so it's ok for Hubby to take the van.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am very thankful that we got a new bed for Toddler and Baby. My friend Michelle was giving her old queen-size bed away (lucky duck got a new king-size lol) and she was kind enough to let us have it. I've been wanting a bed to put in the boys room for them to share so that Baby wouldn't have to sleep on the floor and it would be easier to lay down with him to get him to sleep. It works great! Toddler loves his new big bed and it was much easier for Hubby to lay down with Baby to get him to sleep since there is plenty of room, Hubby said Baby slept better too. It was kind of sad to pack away the Toddler bed and little mattresses though, I don't want my kids growing up so fast! They look so little on that big bed lol. And we were able to help Michelle out by giving them our old entertainment center that we weren't using. I love when things work out so well.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful the chance to go camping with friends. We went last weekend and it was a lot of fun. They even sold us their 8-man tent for really cheap since they are buying a new one. Now we can go camping more and not have to borrow a tent! We had fun talking and roasting marshmallows. Well, I pretty much roasted all the marshmallows lol. A certain friend of mine doesn't like roasted marshmallows, can you believe that?! LOL but that's ok, we can still be friends :D It really is great to have friends that we can go do stuff like that with. They've had us over for game nights with some of their other friends too and that has been a blast. I am so grateful for friends.

I am thankful today for my little sister who is visiting. She is 14 and a big help when she's here. The boys love her and she helps me take care of them and clean. Plus it gives me someone to talk to. We also invited Hubby's little sister who is 14, she is just here for the day, but they are good friends so it's nice that they can spend some time together and they both help me out. It really helps to have one person per child lol.
