We've been married for 8 years and ...I can relate! We've been married for 8 years and I'm just now really cooking...What sucks is you have to really plan for the whole week before you go to the store...then you will actually spend less if you only buy what you need. I refused to believe this before, but we do actually spend less now b/c we aren't buying all the premade frozen stuff anymore. The problem is that what's good for the little ones isn't what we really want to eat. I'm going to post a few recipes later on my site that we really like. I enjoy reading what other people are making. Lots do meals that are for people on a food budget. I have also found easy recipes on there too. I know you think I do hard recipes, but I really like simple recipes too. I know the book you are talking about and I felt some of those recipes had a lot of ingredients too!
