House Hunting

So now that we have a buyer for our house we get to go house hunting! I'm excited to find a house for us, but not excited about looking at a million houses and working out all the money stuff, mortgage and closing and all. And there is just so much to choose from here, much more than their was in Idaho, so that makes it even harder to choose. We've narrowed down our list to 35 houses, so it may take a while to see them and find one we really like. Luckily I have some online friends to help us out. We meet with our realtor tomorrow to start looking. I really hope we find the perfect house. :) And right now is the perfect time to buy a house with the dropping interest rates, so that is great news for us.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am very thankful that we were able to get a buyer for our house in Idaho. I was only on the market about 3 weeks, which is pretty quick. Hopefully we can find a house down here quickly. I'm also thankful that the boys have been sleeping a little better this week. The first few weeks here they didn't sleep very good and it was so exhausting.

What are you thankful for?

Teeth

Jason had his very first dentist appointment today. It wasn't horrible but didn't really go as planned. We get there and he enjoyed the train table they had while I spent the rest of my life filling out paperwork. Finally we get called back and they sit him in the chair for x-rays and he was not going for it. I even sat in the chair with him but he still would not let them put that little plastic thing in his mouth, so we skipped that and went on to the dentist chair. He wouldn't even sit in it, I again had to sit down and hold him in my lap. We tried to convince him that it would be fun to get his teeth cleaned but he was not having it. Even a Blue's Clues sticker didn't help, so we skipped the cleaning. Then the dentist came in and he had to actually look at Jason's teeth. Jason thought we were trying to murder him, I swear. He screamed and cried through the whole 2 minutes of the exam. Unfortunately he has 2 cavities that will need filled soon. And because they are on the front teeth and they do those white fillings that have to stay dry through the filling process, they put kids this age under to do it so they don't freak out and all. I feel bad for my little guy who will have to go under just to get a few teeth filled. :( And while he is out they will do x-rays and cleaning too at least. We're going to have this done in March when our new dental insurance starts, which gives me time to save up the almost $400 it's going to cost (general anesthesia isn't covered by insurance). Sigh. I am definitely going to be better about brushing and flossing my kids' teeth from now on.

President Gordon B. Hinckley has passed away

From Fox News:

"The president of the LDS Church passed away Sunday evening at the age of 97. Gordon B. Hinckley was the fifteenth president of the church and has been president since 1995. He was the oldest person to preside of the church in its history."

I just can't believe it. Because I joined the church in 1995 he has been the only president of the church I have known. I saw him speak at a regional conference just a few months ago. Of course we all knew he was getting older and that this would likely happen soon, but it is still a shock. He will be missed but I'm sure he is having a beautiful reunion in heaven with his dear wife who passed away a few years ago.

Hotel Fire

Did you all hear about that hotel in Vegas that had a big fire? I saw it on the news and it looked pretty bad, has a huge black mark at the top. Which one was it? I can't remember, let me see...oh, the Monte Carlo. I've never stayed there, the only hotels in Las Vegas that I think I've stayed in, on the strip, are The Stratosphere and Imperial Palace. I personally don't care for them because they are too smoky and noisy, gives me a headache.

Hormones or Sleep Loss?

I love that as a woman I can blame any mental breakdowns, uncontrollable crying fits, out of control anger, and random crying on hormones. It doesn't matter at what point of the month it is, our hormones are always fluctuating. We have progesterone, estrogen, LH, FSH, and who knows what else just bouncing around and changing levels all the time. No wonder we are so moody. But actually I usually don't blame it on hormones, I blame it on lack of sleep. I really do get extra grumpy when I don't get enough sleep, which is almost all the time.

Sunday Saying

"In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer."
- Albert Camus

I've made it known many times that I seriously hate winter weather, cold, snow, etc so this quote popped out at me. I think it is saying that even in our darkest, coldest place in life, there is power within us to get through it and create a better place for ourselves. We can choose to be beat down by despair or rise above it and not let it control us. Just something to think about. Any other thoughts?

Cufflinks

For the longest time I had no idea what cufflinks were. I knew that guys wore them when they dressed up fancy but I couldn't figure out why. Eventually I learned that there are shirts that are actually made without buttons on the sleeves and cufflinks are used instead to hold the cuffs together. Of course I never actually see anybody wearing them, so I don't know how popular it is here. I think it's more popular in other countries or in high class societies.

These boots are (not) made for walking

I need some new shoes. I have my tennis shoes and some old scuffed up boots that I only wear to church. I also have sandals but in this weather I can't wear them unfortunately, unless I want to lose a few toes. I would love some cute sexy boots like the brown ones my sister wore to church today. And I need new tennis shoes cuz mine are old and not too attractive. Just a few things to add to my "I-need-new-clothes-but-can't-afford-them" list.

Life's good

So I bet you are all wondering how I'm doing? Oh come on, I'm sure at least one person must be wondering why I don't post a bazillion posts a day anymore? Or maybe you are all just relieved lol. :D

Anyway, things are going pretty good. Mostly we just stay in the house and do normal stuff like watch TV, clean, take care of kids, etc. The days have been passing very quickly, blending into each other. Hard to believe it's already been 2 weeks since we moved in.

Yesterday I got a nice package in the mail. Michelle and Melissa bought me "New Moon" and "Eclipse" from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer as a going away present and I finally got it. I was so excited. And guess what? I have already finished them! Yep, in just one day I read both books. They are so good and I just couldn't put them down until I finished. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out, supposedly this fall.

Anyway, got a stinky diaper to change and dinner to serve so I better go. Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Wardrobe Malfunction

So I'm in need of new clothes. I desperately need some better church-wear and some new jeans would be great. And living with my gorgeous little sister who has always had better fashion sense than me has really showed how bad off my wardrobe is lol. And I have no idea how to accessorize. Of course without money I can't buy any, it would be great to get some gift cards or Lillian Vernon coupons or anything to help out. When I get a little money I'll have to take my sis with me to help me find some acceptable clothes.

Not a big help

One thing I'm not looking forward to when we finally get our own place is driving up to our old house to get all our furniture. Not because it's so much work, cuz honestly, I don't do much of it lol, I'm too weak. I do as little furniture moving as possible, especially the big heavy stuff, I'm pretty worthless in that department. :D No, mostly I don't want to have to pay for the gas for my dad's moving truck again lol. At least it is cheaper than renting a moving truck or getting a mover NYC style to do everything for us, but it's still a nice chunk of change.

Hard Water

The bathrooms in this house could really use some new plumbing fixtures. Especially the bathroom faucets, they are getting all rusty and hard water stained and don't look good. I think it's just cuz they are old and the water in this city is horrible. Seriously, the water here is gross and very hard. Doesn't help that for some reason the water softener doesn't work so the hard water corrodes everything.

Friday's Feast

Appetizer
How many times per day do you usually laugh?

- I have no idea really. Some days I laugh more than others.

Soup
What do your sunglasses look like?

- I don't have any right now. Or at least none that I know where they are. My last pair were silver frames with light blue lenses and they looked cute but didn't help much against the sun.

Salad
You win a free trip to anywhere on your continent, but you have to travel by train. Where do you go?

- Hm, by train? I've never been on a train so I don't know how comfortable they are, but I don't think I'd want to travel to far in one. How about up to British Columbia? I don't know if any trains go from here to there, but I hear it's nice.

Main Course
Name one thing you consider a great quality about living in your town/city.

- There are so many things here that are close, compared to up in Idaho where we lived. There are stores and movie theaters and everything anywhere I go.

Dessert
If the sky could be another color, what color do you think would look best?

- Purple. I like purple.

No tools

Every time I go to fix something here I cannot find the box we are using for our tool storage. All our tools were in one box but I have no idea where it got put. Hm, actually now that I really think of it, it might still be in our car. I'll have to ask Hubby when he gets home. At least I have our power drill here, the most important one. Not that I fix a ton of stuff, mostly I just need screw drivers to unscrew toy battery compartments lol.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that my boys are feeling better. Jakey was sick for about a week and Jason for only a few days. They still have runny noses but they are much happier and playing now. I hate when they are sick cuz they are so sad and miserable and you can just see it on their faces. Hopefully they stay healthy for a good long while now.

What are you thankful for?

Glam it up

I used to wear jewelry when I was younger, especially earrings. I loved earrings. But now the only jewelry I wear is usually my wedding ring and CTR ring. Occasionally I'll wear some simple earrings. I have I think 3 necklaces- a gold chain, my locket, and a pukka (sp?) shell one- but I only sometimes wear my locket. I really want to get some new earrings though cuz I still like them the most but all mine are old cheap ones that are looking worn.

Grey Poupon

I got to try out some Grey Poupon for the first time today and was asked to give an honest review. I am not a big mustard fan so I was intrigued by all the people who say this is much better than regular yellow mustard. I recieved two flavors to try- Hearty Spicy Brown and Harvest Coarse Ground. We had some turkey leftover from Sunday dinner so I made myself a sandwich and used the Harvest Coarse Ground on one half and the Hearty Spicy Brown on the other half. Unfortunately I did not like either one. The Hearty mustard has horseradish which makes me gag and the Harvest mustard tasted about the same to me. I gave the rest of the sandwich to one of my brothers and he didn't hate it but said it wasn't the best. But it will not go to waste. My mom says she loves Grey Poupon and horseradish so she will be happy to use them. I'm sure those who like the taste of horseradish and spicy mustards would love these, but they are just not for me.

Out of line

Ugh, my head is killing me. I really need to see a chiropractor, my whole spine is out of wack and my neck is especially bad, which makes me have a horrible headache. I'm so glad Hubby's new work insurance will cover chiropractic care, but unfortunately that won't start until March. At least I don't have to do much today so I can kind of relax and stuff so it doesn't hurt as bad.

Tuesday To-Do

There's not really much for me to do here lol, but here's a few things I might do:

* Go shopping with my mom

* Do a little cleaning or organizing or something

* Go to the post office to pick up a package

* Take care of the kids

I have to go pick up a package at the post office cuz the mailman was too lazy to bring it to the door, even though I needed it last Friday. Too bad the boys are sick cuz it's a sunny day and I'd like to take them out to play in the snow.

Writing on the wall

Before I was married when I lived here with my family things were different. Most of my brothers have moved out and various foster kids have come through. The downstairs living room was the boys' domain with original movie posters and guitar pictures and stuff all over the walls. And the downstairs bathroom is funny. After an accident with the dog and blue paint left blue streaks along the wall the boys and their friends began writing little things on the wall. There are funny movie quotes and random stuff all over it. I think my mom is finally thinking about painting it over though.

Not a winter sport

I think it's funny that Hubby asked for golf clubs and golf balls and stuff for Christmas when it will be months before he can even use it lol. Especially because in the 4.5 years we've been married he's gone golfing maybe 5 times, if that. At least now we will live by many golf courses so he will hopefully get some good use out of them. My dad likes to golf too so maybe they'll do that together.

Crazy life

I really wish I had more time to blog. Things are always so busy here and I can't just hide out in my room to get online much. Things have been good. On Saturday we went over to my brother and sister-in-law's place and had dinner and played games, it was a blast. Sunday we had a ton of people come to church to hear my brother who just got back from Spain talk about his mission then we had a huge Thanksgiving-type dinner. It was delicious! Mmmm, my mom's a good cook. Mostly I've just been taking care of my little sickies. Jakey is feeling mostly better but now Jason is sick with it. I spent an hour or two today rearranging our room so it doesn't feel so crowded in here. Hubby will be at work an hour later today because it snowed a ton and traffic was so slow it took him an hour longer to get to work. I wish the boys weren't sick so I could take them out to play in the snow, I'm sure they'd have a blast.

I know I am way behind in meme's so if anyone has tagged me for one lately can you send me an email with a link to the post, then I can get it done sometime? :)

And I'm really going to try to get around to commenting more, I promise.

Getting used to it

I'm really sorry I haven't had a chance to comment much. I haven't had as much opportunity to get on the computer here at my family's house, it's so busy. But things are going really well here. Hubby likes his new job and it's been nice to hang out with my family. Poor Jakey has been sick for a few days with a fever and cough. He threw up a few nights ago and hasn't been sleeping well so we are tired. I found the box with our humidifier so hopefully that will help him sleep better tonight. I need to pick up some medicine vapor stuff to put in it. I also need to run to the store for diapers. I hope to be able to get around to commenting and posting more once we are more used to being here.

Thankful Thursday

This week I am very thankful for Hubby's new job. He is really excited about it and likes it so far. He started yesterday and it seems like it will be a great job. I am also thankful for my family for letting us stay with them even though it makes the house a lot more crowded. I am thankful that my brother Ben returned from his mission in Spain safely today. It is so great to see him since he has been gone 2 years.

What are you thankful for?

Settling In

Well, we got to my family's house yesterday and got all our stuff set up. It still seems surreal that we are here to stay, not just for a visit. It is going to take some time to adjust to being here. They boys have been enjoying being with family and last night we hung out with my brother and sister-in-law, who the boys adore. I will try to get around to commenting to some of you soon, I promise!

Last minute to-do

We still have a few things to finish up before we leave tomorrow. Some I can do tonight like cancel our voip phone service and newspaper subscription, and then tomorrow Hubby is going to cancel our cable internet. I have to go make sure all the stuff we need to return, like the Ethernet cord and Cat 5 cable and whatever else we got with it, are there so they don't charge us for them. We are done cleaning, except a final vacuum of the whole house that we will do before we leave. Now we just need to get our stuff all packed into the van and car. It seems surreal that this has happened so fast and that this is our last night in this house. It's very sad. :(

Yummy wires

When our cat chewed through our power cord to this laptop last week I tried to fix it. Evidently it is not as easy to fix as many other wires. It's like fiber cable or something. I tried and it still didn't work so we had to buy a whole new one. Do you realize how much those dang ac adapter things cost? Too much! Stupid cat. At least we don't have to deal with them chewing up any more wires for a while since they are staying with someone else while we are living with my family.

Great Saturday

We've had a pretty good day here. We drove back from Rexburg around noon and then worked on some cleaning. I got all the kitchens cupboards clean while Hubby washed some walls. Then this evening a friend and I went to surprise Michelle and took her out for dinner. That was great and it was fun to talk and hang out. We went to the mall and walked around and shopped a little bit. I'm going to miss Michelle so much :( We'll have to get together any time we come up to see Hubby's family. Now we are watching the Patriots in the final seconds as they beat the Jaguars 31-20. Go Patriots!!!

Nothing to Eat

We have practically nothing left to eat in our house now. We sent all the food from our freezer down with my dad Wednesday and now we are pretty much left with condiments and Hamburger Helper. Luckily we are eating at Michelle's on Sunday and tonight and tomorrow we will be at the inlaws, so I think we should make it :)

Clean Carpets

Our carpets look so much better now! It's so nice to have them this clean, even if I only get to enjoy it for a few more days. Now we just have to try to keep it this clean until we leave. We are leaving in a few minutes to go up to Rexburg for the temple open house. We will stay the night up there with Hubby's family, and come home sometime tomorrow. Then we have just a few short days to get the house spotless and the rest of our stuff loaded in the cars before we go. Hopefully when this is all over I'll have some time to actually comment on some blogs, I feel so bad that I haven't been able to lately! Hope you all understand :)

Friday

We went over to Michelle's house to hang out and let the kids play. It will be so sad not to get to see them as much. They invited us over for dinner Sunday so that will be our last time hanging out in a while. :( We have the carpet cleaner guys coming in just a few minutes so I need to go clean up a few things. I need to get some clothes together so when Hubby gets home we can head to Rexburg for the night. I'm dropping Little T off at his mom's work at 4:30, just a few more hours with the cute little guy. Anyway, gotta go :) Hope you are all having a good Friday!

Service Changes

One thing that is a pain about moving to another state is all the stuff that needs canceled or changed. We are suspending our DirecTV service until we are in our own home, we have to cancel our Packet8 (voip phone) service, our CableOne internet, and then probably change our cell phone numbers after we move. We also have to get our car registered down there and get a new auto insurance quote from our insurance company. I already have set up our mail to be forwarded to our new address starting Monday. Oh yeah, we also need to cancel our newspaper subscription. Hm, am I forgetting anything? Probably. Sigh.

- Fashion? Me?! HAHAHAHA

Salad
What is your least favorite chore, and why?

What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?

- Falling/heights. I have a memory of being at the Grand Canyon with a bunch of family and one of my cousins thought it would be funny to hold me over the side of the trail for a second and it terrified me. I don't know if that's what made my fear so bad, but I can still remember it. For all I know it could have just been a dream, though I think it really happened, hm. I can hardly breathe just looking at a picture of someone standing near the edge of a cliff.

Dessert
Where are you sitting right now? Name 3 things you can see at this moment.

- In our living room. I see the TV, book I'm reading "The Wednesday Letters", Hubby sleeping on the other couch.

Took a break

For the first time in 10 days I did not do any packing. I only cleaned a few dishes. I allowed myself to have a normal day. And I am still exhausted. Tomorrow is my last day watching Little T. I'm going to miss that cute little chubby boy. Man, now I'm crying. Well, can't get it together right now, so cutting this short.

Getting there

Well, the moving stuff went very well last night. We had about 15 guys here, including my inlaws and my dad and 2 brothers. We were able to get our bed, dresser, night table, tons of boxes, and a few others things all packed into my dad's moving truck in about an hour. It went very quick and smooth because we just had a line of people passing everything out to the truck. My dad drove back last night so they could unload it today. We have a busy weekend here before we head down Monday.

Wednesday, January 09, 2008

Let the moving begin

Well, my dad and 2 of my brothers have arrived with the moving truck. In about 1/2 hr a bunch of guys from church are going to show up to help and they will get all the boxes loaded up. (Yep, I said "they", I'm going to supervise ;) lol.) we are taking the boys to their friend's house for a few hours so they won't be in the way. Hopefully with a bunch of people here it won't take too long. It's mostly boxes, the only furniture we are taking is our bed, dresser, and nightstand. So if they form a line out to the truck we should be able to get it loaded up pretty quick.

Almost done

Today my dad is driving up with his moving truck so we can load up all our boxes of stuff and our bed and dresser. We had to have everything packed, and we did. In one week we were able to pack up everything except the stuff we will need to live with. We are eating on paper plates with plastic utensils and have a tiny supply of food to eat until we go down Monday. I can't believe how crazy it's been for the last week (and a few days). Once my dad goes back tomorrow we will just have a lot of cleaning to finish up over the weekend and get the carpets cleaned too. At least I know that a week from now we will be settled in with my family, so there's a light at the end of this tunnel. My stomach has been in knots and not feeling well since we found out we are moving, and I'm looking forward to just having it over with so I can stop feeling like I'm going to throw up!

Manic Monday: One

Today's Manic Monday word is ONE.

We will be moving in ONE week! Holy Cow! Just ONE week ago we found out and everything is happening so quickly. This has been so stressful and it will be so nice to just have it done with. ONE of these days I need to treat myself to a massage to get rid of all the tension this whole thing is causing. I really can't wait until we are all moved.

Sunday Saying

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad man."
- John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton

This just reminded me of all the news and hoopla over the upcoming presidential elections and how nasty some of the politicians can get towards each other. I would never want to be in a position with that much power, the stress alone would drive me insane, I can't see why anyone would volunteer for it lol.

Time Change

So we used to have church at 9am, but this year it's moved to 1pm. On one hand, we had a hard time getting to church on time before, but on the other hand it makes the day seem so short to have it at 1pm. The boys didn't nap before church so they were cranky and napped late after it so they aren't in bed yet. Boy, church time sure does make a difference in daily routines!

Homeowners

There is so much to do when buying and selling a house. Do you know how much paperwork they make you sign? It's nuts. We won't be able to get a new house until our house here sells, but we have been looking at listings. And our house will go on the market tomorrow. I'd forgotten all the stuff we'll need to go through to get a new house until I was signing paperwork to list ours, there's the offers and mortgage stuff and finding home insurance quotes and a bunch of stuff. It is a long, hard process to buy a house.

Too busy

Wow, we have been so busy!!! All this packing and cleaning is exhausting. My wonderful mother-in-law spent the weekend here helping us do some deep cleaning. We have a lot of packing done and the house hasn't been this clean in a long time. My dad is bringing his moving truck Wednesday for us to start moving stuff. Then we are going down next Monday. This last week has been so long with all that's gone on. I'm sure this coming week is going to be pretty hectic too. I haven't even had time to post much lately.

Friday's Feast

Appetizer
When was the last time you received a surprise in the mail, and what was it?

- Hm, probably a rebate check I forgot was coming :)

Soup
If you could have a summer and/or winter home, where would you want it to be?

- San Diego, love the weather there.

Salad
Pick one: pineapple, orange, banana, apple, cherry.

- Banana

Main Course
Describe the nicest piece of clothing that you own.

- A black dress that I rarely wear.

Dessert
If you could forget one whole day from your life, which day would you choose to wipe from your memory?

- Boy this is a hard one! There are quite a few days really. And none of them I care to say on here, sorry.

Stupid Cat

Why do cats enjoy chewing on electrical cords? Our cats are driving us nuts. the last few weeks they have been chewing up cords for everything. And then today they made me really mad. One of the cats chewed through the laptop power cord. I couldn't charge up my laptop and I've already packed the desktop, so for half the day I had no computer access. I almost went insane! It's not so bad when you choose not to be on the computer that long, but when you are forced to go without it, it can drive a person crazy! Now we're just doing more packing. My mother-in-law is coming tomorrow to help clean and stuff, and our realtor (Hubby's cousin) is also coming to put up a for sale sign and get pics. We are so busy! I'm really really sorry that I haven't had time to comment to hardly anybody lately, I promise I have been reading in my feeds just don't have time to sit and comment.

I'm Going Insane

As if moving wasn't bad enough, the things that go with moving aren't making it any easier. I've been packing like crazy today and I am making some progress. I have our desks cleaned out and our coffee tables cleaned out along with our night stands as well. However, the kids are not helping. The kids are driving me nuts when I try and pack and Little T was trying some new food today and his stomach did not like it at all. So, his stomach wanted to share it all with me. Blahh!!!. I hope the move goes well so we can just get it done.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for the great new job Hubby is going to start. It is a great opportunity for him. I am thankful that my dad has his own moving truck so we don't need to rent one. Hopefully it all goes well.

What are you thankful for?

Taking a break

Boy, packing is tiring work! I got a few more boxes packed in the office: books, desktop computer, more books. And a box of clothes in my room. I had to take a break cuz my back really hurts after moving the boxes of books and computer. I think I'll make some lunch before I pack some more. Maybe I'll get lucky and my boys will take a nap so I can pack faster.

Guess what I'm doing?

Packing. Yep, lots and lots of packing. We found out on New Year's Eve that Hubby got a great job offer in the Salt Lake City area and we have decided to take it. The downside is that he has to start on January 16th. That does not give us much time to pack and say goodbye to our life here. I was so sad to tell Michelle, and we both cried. Then I had to tell Little T's mom and we both cried. She's having a hard time finding someone who will be able to watch him on such short notice, and he's been like part of my family for the last 7.5 months, I'm going to miss him so much. We also have to get the house packed and ready to sell as soon as possible. Until it sells we will be living with my family. Most of our furniture will be left here until we sell the house and find a new place to live, but I still have to pack up everything else to take with us. There is so much to do in such a short amount of time, which is very stressful. I've been busy today packing up stuff in my boys' room and the playroom. I've boxed up all the toys and left one box open for them to play with here and at my family's, the rest will stay boxed until we get a new home. I've been working on packing up stuff in the office as well, have most of the books done, now I need to tackle the closet. After that I will work on my room and the bathrooms. I want to get it all done asap so that we can work on getting the whole place really clean and nice looking to get it up for sale. So, I won't have much time for blogging in the next few weeks, and at my family's I won't be online as much either, but I'll still try to comment once in a while :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well, another year has come and gone. 2007 was a pretty good year for us. Jason turned 3 and Jakey turned 1. Celebrated 4th anniversary with Hubby. Overall it was a great year. I've seen this on a few other blogs and decided to do it. Here are the first lines of the first post from each month in 2007:

January-
"Congrats! You made it! Another year down, you are that much closer to death, sorry :D"

February-
"Well, I'm back! The trip was wonderful!"

March-
"Today I am thankful for: 1) Feet, to get me where I'm going"

April-
"Yesterday we went to pick up Toddler at my family's home."

May-
"Alright, here's what I need to do today: *Clean boys' room"

June-
"Snickers is "the best" candy bar"

July-
""Look, I have one job on this lousy ship. It's stupid, but I'm going to do it, okay?"
- Gwen, Galaxy Quest"

August-
"Today is the parenting advice edition of WFMW."

September-
"Well, we did it! The 5k is over!"

October-
"Last year in March Hubby and I drove to San Diego."

November-
"I am thankful that Hubby is back from his work trip, and that he had a safe trip."

December-
"Yesterday we took a trip up to the inlaws."

Man, my first posts of each month really weren't that exciting lol, and I'm too lazy to just find the most interesting post of each month, that would take hours.

Happy New Year!!!
